The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a way to add Android Auto and CarPlay to my wife's older SUV, mainly for updated navigation and so we could listen to streaming music more easily, but I discovered this device also has a built-in dash cam with a backup camera option! The device came with all of the necessary mounting hardware, and everything was well packaged. It came with a stick-on mount and extra sticky pad, but I chose to mount it up high on the windshield using the included suction cup mount. The suction cup is a twist-to-lock type that I hadn't used before, but it was simple to affix and holds super strong! The main mounting ring holds the device securely with magnets which allows us to easily take the device down if parking in questionable public areas. Installation of the main unit was simple: attach to the windshield, route the power cable to a 12v socket, and wait about 6 seconds for it to power on. The 12v power adapter has a passthrough USB output for charging your phone or other USB device. Connecting my wife's phone (Android Auto) and my phone (Apple CarPlay) was an easy, straight forward task. After the unit powers on to its home screen, it has options for Android Auto, CarPlay, screen casting and settings. Simply touch Android Auto or CarPlay and the device shows easy-to-follow instructions on the screen. I was able to connect our phones without issue and can switch between the two when needed. For sound, you can use the device's built in speaker, but it's not that loud and sounds kind of tinny - it works, but is just "okay". Fortunately, it supports line out with an included aux cable, FM modulator for tuning in with your radio, and Bluetooth. I connected via Bluetooth and the audio sounds great, but it's nice to have all of the other audio output options available. Operation is simple and screen looks great! The screen doesn't washout with off-axis viewing angles, it has rich colors and contrast, and it's sufficiently bright even under full sun. I don't know if it was listed as a feature, but the screen supports automatic brightness control based on ambient lighting. This is GREAT feature as I didn't want to have to dial down the brightness at night then crank it back up in the daytime. Auto brightness was enabled by default on my unit but a simple touch of the auto button while adjusting the brightness will toggle it on/off. There is also a flush button on the bottom of the unit that quickly turns the display off or on when pressed. I was worried the screen might be a little small, and I saw some devices advertising larger screens (9"-10"+) but this 6.25" unit turned out to be the perfect size. After mounting it up on the windshield to get the best view for the dash cam, I realized anything larger would be a visual obstruction for the driver. It tucks nicely under the review mirror and never feels like it's in the way. The reach is a little long for my wife, but we primarily use voice commands and haven't had any issues operating it. The dash cam video quality is excellent. Crisp, clear 4K video with a wide angle lens that takes in the entire intersection. It came with a micro SD card preinstalled and it required no additional setup, automatically recording upon power up. I'm very happy with the unit and I'm impressed with the dash cam video quality. I was looking for a modern dash cam with new features and decent cost. So, this one got my attention. The packaging was good and it had all of the necessary mounting hardware. Installation was very straightforward and took just a few minutes. To mount, you place the magnetic ring around the camera. It includes a spare adhesive sticker as well. The dashcam screen is responsive and looks great even under the sunlight. The screen size is quite enough for the dashcam so it does not block the view of the road. The quality of the camera and videos is excellent. Comes with 4k mode and low-light imaging. Your cell phone will be connected to the dashcam. For sound, you can use the device's built-in speaker. This dash camera is great. The 4k screen is such a good picture. It's so nice to also have the apple air play to hook up to radio. The recording are good. This works really well with no complaints.

Mounted this in my truck, the screen is very clear and can easily be seen even when its bright during the day. The size of this unit is perfect for my situation where it doesn’t block my view but also big enough to see it. Dash cam feature is a plus.

Finally a device that works and has all the functionality I was looking for. I use Android auto and setting it up took less than a minute. It has split screen if you would like to see the dashcam stream on the screen, but it can also be set up to use full screen mode. Rear camera can be calibrated. This was a good Dashcam with CarPlay/Android auto functionality. I like the sharp image on the playback and the built in speaker sounds very clear. I used this as a recording device for when I’m driving in traffic and also as a second navigation device via CarPlay.

The dash cam is by far my favorite out of every one I've tried! I've always had the problem of screens taking up too much space, this was perfect! It is the size of a cell phone and easy to connect and set up. It will connect to Android or IPhone and you can even share photos, videos, music and more.
