This is really a beautiful littler box mat, just wish it came in a much larger size. Even so it is great as it captures kicked or spilled litter and the smooth surface makes it easy to clear off back in to the box or garbage can. It has some waterproof capabilities, and liquid does bead up for quite some time allowing you to use tissues as needed. I love it is so thin so occasionally after it’s been washed I will use it as a door mat or rug. My external doors are ridiculously close to the inside floor height making any rug that is thicker unusable. So yes to make my world of litter boxe use and door mat use I wish this particular pattern came in the largest size. It’s a great value, and is durable and the only litter mat I buy. It washes beautifully and has many uses, but if you choose to use it strictly as a litter mat, your cats will love being so stylish! ... show more

Washable and good size. The rubber backing is non-slip but not waterproof. Any liquid mess disperses in the fabric but also leaks through to the tile or carpet underneath as well. Good at minimizing tracking. Has been washed a dozen times or more and retains shape and color.

This mat is very cute and soft. It does reduce litter spreading but not quite as much as I’d hoped. I loved the size of the mat, and that it stayed put with the rubber backing. Also that I can throw it in the washer. However, I am ordering something else to try to help with my messy kitties.

I’m using this rug as a liter tracker. It’s ok. The real excitement is how well it washes. Lately one of our std poodles has had accidents. She poops outside the liter box on this rug if we don’t walk her a few times a day. We do let her run in yard several times a day, however she wants her walk. . I guess she thinks, the cat goes here why can’t i? We clean it off and throw it in the washer on delicate wash and dry in dryer with tennis balls. …at least 15 times so far! It is still in use, a little wear but still good. I do shake the liter back into the box everyday. I’m concerned about my big dog pooping but it is containable with this mat. We have not had any urine accidents so I can’t talk about that. Maybe Put a training mat under this to catch the urine? ... show more

I waited to review this after putting it through the ultimate test. My cats destroyed the foam mat we had before, so I got this one. tl;dr--really works, very affordable, durable, and clean looking. highly recommend. - They attempted to shred it tooth and claw but failed, so big win! - I transported it with me while travelling with my boys, and I was able to comfortably do so and dust off the excess litter before packing it up. - I vacuumed it multiple times, and it withstood not only the vacuum, but also the washer and dryer. - Finally, it is really soft, looks aesthetically pleasing, and I do feel like it catches the litter from their little paws really well because of the felt-like material, reducing tracking around the house! ... show more
