Features

  • Durable serviceCarbon fiber drumsticks are denser and harder than ordinary wooden mallets, with the same center of gravity. Strict control of quality and weight ensures that each drumstick is the same weight. There will be no imbalance in the strength of the drummer's two hands due to the inconsistent weight of two drumsticks in one set, and the drummer can use them for a long time without worrying about breaking.
  • Good balanced weightThe density is high and the drumsticks are as hard as bone. Each drumstick keeps the same weight, and the texture and balance of the carbon fiber drumsticks are better than those made of wood.
  • Good anti-slip effectThe unique wavy shape and frosted surface are comfortable to hold and non-slip, providing a good grip. plus black design, more resistant to dirt, knock out clear rich sound.
  • Enhance the beginner's wrist strength and enduranceDrummers usually use heavier sticks to build strength during practice, and the carbon fiber drumsticks are slightly heavier than maple sticks, giving you better wrist strength.
  • Personalized Drum Sticks-The unique wavy design of the drumstick body and the classic water drop hammerhead design are more in line with young people's preferences. It has a distinctive black appearance and is more resistant to dirt than other wooden drumsticks.

I bought these for my toddler son and needless to say he loves them. Received them today Shipping on time and they seem durable I’ll be back for a more detailed review.

  • Heavy Handed / Hard Rock / Heavy Metal
Color: 2Pair balck wave
As compared to the same size wooden drum sticks, these have some weight to them. I play almost exclusively with a traditional grip that is more on the open side and the wave pattern was throwing off my grip on my left hand. I also found that my right hand was walking up the stick. This wave pattern on the carbon fiber sticks took some getting used to. Once I found the sweet spot on the stick things fell into place. The sticks have a nice clean attack. They are somewhere in the middle of a wooden tip and a nylon tip which is unique with a tip that is hollowed out. These sticks seem to be a little more weighted on the back end that provides for good stick control. Utilizing a match grip with a heavy-handed style, these sticks are powerful. No matter what style you play, you would probably want to add a set of these to your stick bag. I would think that these sticks will last a long time and can take whatever you throw at them. ... show more

  • Shape Helps with Grip UPDATE
Color: 2Pair balck wave
UPDATE: I'm not changing my overall review of these drumsticks, but I do have some additional information that might be important to some users. These sticks are a bit heavier than the equivalent wooden sticks. And, the balance is different. Typically, the tips of wooden sticks, since they are tapered and have less mass, weigh less than the end you hold in your hand. With these sticks, the weight seems to be the same at both ends of the sticks. Based on my playing ability, this is not an issue. For more experienced or higher-skilled drummers, though, switching to these sticks might require adjustments to your playing style that are not worth the effort. My original review follows. I ordered these carbon fiber drumsticks based on their shape. These drumsticks are pretty different from other sticks I own. First, they are hollow. That doesn't seem to make a difference when hitting a drum head, but rim shots definitely take on a different sound. I won't say a better sound, or a worse sound: just different. The sticks seem to bounce on the drum heads the same way that wooden sticks do, and I don't really hear a sound difference between these and traditional wooden sticks. I should add that I am testing these sticks (and will be using them) on a Roland electric drum set. The thing that caused me to order these sticks is the shape. I've been playing drums for 55 years (though I really stopped getting any better 54 years ago,) and as I've gotten older it's gotten harder for me to hold the sticks hard enough to keep them from flying out of my hands. I thought that the shape of these sticks might address that issue. It does! I'm able to get a more secure grip on these sticks without holding them so tight that my hands get tired, and they stay right where they are supposed to. I planned to give the second set of these to my son, but now I'm thinking that he might just need to buy his own. Using these on my electronic drums, the feel as though they'll last forever. I don't know about their longevity on a regular drum set with metal rims and cymbals. On the other hand, wooden sticks tend to take a beating, too, and these sticks are just not that more more expensive than wooden sticks. ... show more

  • Great first sticks!
Color: 2Pair balck wave
Got these for my kid's first drum sticks. He can grip them easily, and since they're black, they look cool. Somehow, that helps.

  • Nice strong sticks with gripping shape
Color: 2Pair balck wave
Never seen a stick shape like these but they feel really nice in the hand. While I appreciate the finger fitting design they are very smooth and in a live environment I would either tape them or put sticky grip for added protection of accidental flinging. The carbon fiber is really sleek and smooth. The tips are one pieced with the rest of stick and can take some smashing at heavy metal levels. Weight is excellent. Will work for beginner to pro. Price point is unbeatable for the quality. ... show more

  • Decent sticks for slightly quieter sound & slower playing
Color: 2Pair balck wave
These sticks are decently weighted & balanced. The grips make it so you can only hold it at the wavy notches but they are comfortably spaced. The carbon fiber material can still be slippery if your hands get sweaty. There is a bit of vibration in the hands while playing. It produces a slightly muffled sound which changes the tone quality. Overall, as a drummer that uses wood sticks, these are not a great beginner sticks in my opinion. ... show more

  • Depends on your grip style
Color: 2Pair balck wave
When I first picked these up, they felt great. Using a matched grip, the wavy design seemed to fit my hands perfect. Then I decided to try using a traditional grip, and the sticks just felt...weird. The contours didn't line up properly with my left-hand finger placement, which made the stick feel awkward and skewed. It might just be my particular manner of holding the sticks (everyone's is a little different) but it seems like the wavy design can be a boon or a bane: when it lines up with your fingers, it's amazing; when it doesn't, it feels terrible. ... show more

  • Durable Practice Sticks- Build Wrist
Color: 2Pair balck wave
I haven't had blisters from playing in a long time, but these can offer a nice workout for wrist strength. I beat these hard, and they held up strong. There were only tiny nicks in the sticks from about an hour of playing. I don't know anything about carbon fiber, but it is tough. The feel of the drumsticks are smooth, but they didn't slip out of my hand once. As a drummer, I think these are great for practice and not so much for live playing. Once I switched back to my wood sticks I felt stronger and faster. I have no doubt these will have a positive impact on my drum practice. ... show more
