I bought this scooter to use for a trip to Las Vegas. I didn’t get to use it as much as I had planned due to I wanted to walk as much as I could tolerate. When I did use it, I was very impressed. It made my trip enjoyable. Estimating I rode it for 1 1/2 miles and the battery indicator only decreased by barely one notch. My favorite feature is that you can adjust the speed while it is moving. The seat could have been more comfortable though. I still give it five stars. The supposed horn is quiet. It’s not of much use. The basket was a great place to put my purse. I wrapped my purse strap around the steering handle twice for extra security. Nothing really heavy should be put in the basket. I’d say no more than five pounds. If you’re operating this where there’s a lot of people around, I recommend using a lower speed until you get used to it. I almost ran in to several people because I was going a little too fast. You need to be aware, as people will just stop right in front of you and this scooter can’t stop on a dime. A part was broken upon arrival so I contacted the company and they sent a replacement. Received the scooter several days early. It’s rather heavy package at 138 pounds, unboxing was easy, there was damage to the box. No damage to the scooter, went together very simply, thank goodness because there basically were no instructions for putting it together the first time, the only assembly instructions are for when you take it apart to move it, like putting it in your trunk. We bought the extended battery model. My wife took it up our county Road to the neighbors farm on the rough paved road. It’s about a mile round-trip she’s made it twice so far with a little bit of driving around the house on top of it. The battery only moved one dot off of fully charged and it came fully charged so we didn’t even charge it when we received. It seems to be a very nice unit. She could use a little more padding but I opted for this brand because it had a longer history and very good reviews so far we’re very pleased with it. This little gem has been such a blessing. I can go for drives around the neighborhood anytime I want. I have arthritis so bad I can’t walk without a walker. I can’t walk or stand for very long. Now I am able to get out. The scooter came in perfect condition and my daughter-in-law helped me assemble it in the box with one end open. I drove it right out of the box! I am painting one of the sets of color changers pink. I recommend this to anyone who needs assistance to get out on their own. ... show more

Cheaply made with plastic. My dad is 86 and was driving it for the second day since receiving it and the plastic on the tire completely blew. He pushed it back in the hot Arizona sun. I called the number on the paperwork with warranty and device protection and the woman on the other end was rude (I wasn’t rude or yelling, just stated facts) and said we would have to contact Amazon. I said okay, but everything arrived, do you want to take an incident report or anything. She asked if he went to the hospital. I said no and she said there was no need for an incident report for a blown tire. I said the tire wasn’t blown, it’s plastic and just broke at the hub. I said okay, I’ll contact Amazon. She hung up. Again, I was never once rude, just stating facts. Bizarre and makes me think they maybe get calls like this a lot and are used to fielding them while trying to admit no fault. ... show more

Love the drive scooters!! But I have to say the customer service was outstanding!! They took very good care of me. Received the product in a very damaged box which caused damage to the scooter. They had within days a new replacement scooter on the way! So easy! Definitely would buy again!
