    • Decent, but picture inaccurate
Beware that the picture does not match the item. The picture shows a tee and two elbows that DO NOT come with this kit. I missed this when I ordered and was annoyed to later realize that the picture doesn't match the product description list. Also, some of the fittings are pretty leaky including the end caps to the drip tape (if you have extra tape cut a small piece to use as a sleeve and fold the end of the drip tape a couple times and then in half lengthwise and slide the sleeve over--this works better than the end cap, but uses more drip tape). The barbed takeoff adapter x drip tape fittings also leak where the barb enters the poly tubing especially if you have a prolonged fight trying to get the barb in the small hole from the punch tool. ... show more

After weeks of researching. I decided to go with this kit. It seemed to have everything needed to start my irrigation system. Right off the bat I saw it didnt have all the parts shown in the photo. After reading the description again I see they were never included. That sucks! Secondly there was a small one sided page that supposedly was the instructions. After going on the website and watching the videos I kinda got the gist. It wasn't rocket science simple enough to figure it out. It seems to be working ...I've had the system now for a while and love it! My plants are thriving and has kept the soil so moist even at the hottest days! ... show more

    • Great kit but flow rate is .33GPH, not .46GPH
I bought this kit last year for a new garden and it was terrific, no issues at all putting it together or using it. I expanded the garden this year and bought another roll of the .46GPH drip tape to expand the kit. Much to my surprise the color of the drip emitters was different, which usually means the flow rate is also different. Close examination showed that the drip tape in this kit is the .33GPH, not the .46GPH. Practically this will not make much of a difference at all unless, like me, you want to add onto it. Double-check the printing on the tape for the actual GPH rating so you know what to order. ... show more

    • Great intro to drip tape
This kit included a good basic selection of parts necessary for a simple drip tape installation. I ended up ordering lots of other parts directly from dripworks to customize my drip tape installation in our garden. Dripworks is great!

Very amateurish, pipe kinks very easily, tool for punching holes is the wrong size for installing drip tape and goof plugs. If you make a mistake with this tool you have to cut pipe witch leaves you short header pipe. Finally got tape hooked up so maybe my opinion will change at the end of summer, and what’s up with the two suckers in the package? ... show more
