Bought these for my living room, my house is old and very dark (small windows, lots of very large trees around) so I wanted something sheer enough to allow light, but thick enough to provide some privacy, and these curtains are just perfect. For the price, they are wonderful, and the fabric looks a lot better than I thought it would. The only thing is that they are pretty narrow, I think I need to order a couple more sets, so I can add an extra panel to each window for fullness. These sheers are amazing in quality. The picture is deceiving as I should have put more together because my windows are far greater in size then I expected. I bought these before my sunroom was built so I've since ordered more to add to the fullness in appearance. The biggest positive is the quality of the material. I've had sheers for 30 years in various homes, but these are hands down the best to touch and see in person. I cannot recommend these more. I really like the way these sheers have a bit more substance to them. Not overly so, but not cheaply made nor too thin. We’re using them on a double rod with a blackout curtain in our kitchen/ living area. Having a SW facing back yard, these sheer give the ability to filter light two different ways. Because the fabric uses a heavier thread for the weave, the light filtration also helps minimize any glare off the patio. Yet there is still plenty of light that does come through. Fabric is nice. I like the 96 inch length which is harder to find than 95 inches long. One panel had a snag in fabric so I returned it and am waiting for new set to arrive tomorrow. Amazon is a very convenient way to shop. Update: i bought both 96 inches and 102 for various length windows. Had to hem the 102 inch panels and they were easy to shorten on my sewing machine.
