I bought these to use as a backdrop for my video sign language job. They are not kidding when they say "Black Out" I now have the opposite problem of ZERO light coming into my work area. I bought them for the color and for some light reduction but holy cow they really let zero light through! They are nice! Many black out curtains are stiff and not very nice looking and heavy. These look like regular every day drapes. The fabric flows and moves like regular material. And they are not heavy to handle. If I didn't know better I would think they were just regular curtains! ... show more

Curtains are very nice, but are about two shades darker than seen on computer. I had to shorten them a bit and found the fabric snagged significantly on the feeder dog of the sewing machine. This caused some pulled threads, but the threads did not break and were easily smoothed back out by pulling the fabric. They are of a heavy weight that hangs nicely but the wrinkles were quit difficult to remove and required both an iron and a steamer and a lot of time. However, once done they flowed beautifully. I usually don't write reviews because I'm forgetful, but this time it's worth speaking out about it. My expectations, especially for the price I bought it at, were blown away. I love the feel, look and most importantly, the blackout level. I work a graveyard shift job so I always sleep during daylight, which does get annoying here in Cali with the constant bright sunlight.
