I installed this hitch on my 2022 Nissan Frontier and it fit great. I have purchased other brand from Amazon and had to wallow one or two of the bolt holes in the hitch in order to use & tighten all (6) bolts but not this one. East to install and great fit!

    • Perfect fit on my 2019 Nissan Frontier
My only fuss about the item is it did not have an instruction sheet with it. One may have been sent with it and lost during shipment. You simply line up the holes in the receiver and on the frame and thread the bolts through. The only thing I had a question about was the size of the bolts needed to attach it to the frame. These bolts are metric, M12 and according to what I read online and the Nissan dealer, they should be 1 1/2 inches long, or 38 mm. I went to the local hardware store and bought the bolts for about $1.50 each. This receiver hitch is well made with good, even welds on heavy duty steel. It was a perfect fit for my 2019 Nissan Frontier. There are a total of 6 holes for the bolts and these holes, three on each side, aligned perfectly with the factory holes on the frame of my truck. I was able to use a plastic milk crate to support the receiver while I started the bolts by hand until I could seat them with an impact wrench; a suggestion given me by the service department of the local dealer. When the receiver hitch arrived, it was not in a box and did not have bolts or a wiring harness. It did have scratches. All of which in my estimation is no big deal. While the hitch itself seems to be of good quality I'm kind of disappointed in the packaging that it came in. It was packed in a large pastboard box that had suffered considerably during the trip. That problem could have been prevented with the addition of a foam block covering each end of the hitch so that it would have no room for movement during shipping. As it comes the hitch is simply loose to flop about during the trip so one end was bent and had to be straightened before it would fit. Product good, packaging poor.     • Perfect fit no struggles
It fit perfect on my truck. I know vehicles vary but I think the bad reviews come from user error. When installing only finger tighten all the bolts when installing. Once all are in torque to specs. Seen one review where guy said he had to pull his tailpipe. Tailpipe in not even close to being in the way so not sure why he went that route. ... show more

    • A complete nightmare to install
The description says this hitch is a perfect match for my 2022 Nissan frontier 4x4 truck ... it is not ... I worked on the install for hours and was only able to get 2 bolts on each side to line up ... I had the truck in the Nissan dealership today for service and asked them to see if they could get it installed. The tech said the bolts don't line up (no kidding!!!!) and he had to remove my tailpipe and pry the hitch into position and then reinstall the tailpipe ... the labor was $92.50.
