    • Worked perfectly first time, right out of the box!
This was very easy to set up and use. Hand tightened it worked very well, and helped us to clear up the blockage in a downspout drain from our gutter system.

I just felt compelled to tell people that if you are having a really bad clog in your main line as I was having this worked perfect. See saying awesome about a sewer tool really is not something you think would happen. That said when you have dug up your yard by hand and finally get the main open and try snakes and still have it clogged and backing up in your house for awhile an I was looking for a longer better snake when I found this & thought why not after reading about it. Then hooked it up an thought at first I had been screwed & what to do now, but leaving it on as this happened it slowly pushed the whole mess threw & that was why it took a lil bit because it was so badly clogged an it worked. We had a main line blockage that had almost completely stopped flow. Outside drain at steps overflowed if you ran water or flushed. Rented one of the 100 ft snakes for 2 days, TWO!! We ran it back and forth I know 20 times each day. Nothing, Nada! Since we had run all of the 100 ft, we measured and figured that 100 feet would have taken it at least to the main line. I called the city but they can't touch it because the house is older and needs the outside cleanout, which it never had. So, they tell us to hire a plumber to install one, then they can come out. I almost called a plumber but figured I would try this first. Not even 5 minutes into it and the drains were going down, it made some weird noises, like reviews said it would, then started working. I checked the drains, still a little bit of blockage but at least flowing. I put it back in and pushed the waterhose as far as I could get it into my lateral, to at least pass any pipes draining into the lateral sewage pipe. Turned it on slowly, then slowly went to full blast and let it run 5 minutes. When my son was pulling out the water hose n bladder after it deflated, it made some really strange noises, we got a sudden smell of sewer gases, and then could actually hear water flowing from the outside sewer main lines thru our basement access. Took bath, husband and son took showers, flushed toilets multiple times, ran washer and dish washer. Safe to say, its CLEAR!! BEFORE EVEN THINKING ABOUT RENTING ONE OF THOSE EXPENSIVE SNAKES, YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY THIS!! I WISH WE WOULD HAVE DONE THIS FIRST! It would have literally saved my husband a lot of pain and body aches. Word of advice, use cold water like it says and use a good quality hose. We got one of the cheapies from walmart for 9 bucks and it developed a small leak where the hose bent and kinked. It worked enough to get it done though. ... show more

Home main sewer line clog... We had backing up into kitchen sink from upstairs bathroom. We also had basement floor flooding due to backup from floor drain. (As the clog source moved further through the main sewer line). I used plunging, snaking, jetting, and chemicals with varying results. This was actually the last thing before calling a plumber and a potentially expensive service call. I know that we have an offset in our line about 30 feet from the cleanout. This was most likely what the jetter and the snake was getting stopped by. This bladder used the pressure from our water supply to "push" the blockage through to the street sewer. Upon removing the bladder, my flooded basement floor drained in seconds, and I have not had any issues since. We are more aware of what is and isn't going down the drains now, and I am doing monthly enzyme treatments to hopefully prevent future problems. However, this drain bladder is now a trusted and permanent tool for use in battling clogs. I only wish that I knew what the blockage actually was, but I highly suspect it was a combination of greasy sludge, "flushable" personal wipes, and disinfectant wipes. ... show more

I am in love with this product. It may be the best purchase I’ve ever made, such a good price and so easy to use. It fixed my problem in <10 minutes. I wish I’d known it existed sooner. My main sewer line has gotten backed up with a combination of roots and then toilet paper etc getting caught on the roots 3-4x since we moved here about 5 years ago. Replacing the main line would require tearing up the driveway so that’s not an option (very expensive). The last time I had to have the main line clog snaked as a weekend after hours call that cost me >$500 and the guy did a sub-par clean out in less than half an hour and the problem came back in a few months. I am so relieved to have a solution I can do myself without renting big equipment that I’ve not used before. This time the clog was an almost complete clog (water would drain but it would take hours- and there would be flooding if we took a shower or used the washing machine etc). Since I’ve got the water flowing again it also gives me an opportunity to try some products meant to kill roots or clean main lines (which you can’t use when the line is clogged).
