I have several household members with long hair. While the hair is beautiful, it can cause problems in the drains in the long term. The drain wig effectively captures hair flowing down our drains and catches it on a chain. After about a month, I checked the chain, which was almost always full of long hair. I threw it away and put it in a new one. No more clogged drains! I use this product primarily in the shower. It's very low maintenance, and all I see is the plastic daisy on my drain when taking a shower. I have also used these in my bathroom drains but it's harder to thread the chain into the drain as its a lot shorter than my shower drain. Bottom line - no more hair clogs! I check mine each time after showering. I’m surprised how much hair this thing catches! I purchased the 2 pack but will order a larger quantity next time. I’ve been using the same one for over a month and it’s still going. As aforementioned, I do clean it after each shower.

I waited to review until we had been using it for about a month. Honestly one the best features is that it stops some of the hair from even going down the drain. I had it in place for about a month before pulling it out to see how much hair it did collect. Really not a ton, but again it could be because it stops hair from even going down the drain. Got 2 of these for $10 in October 2024. They are fine. Consider what a drain pick costs in comparison. Shrug. Work okay. Dragged my hair out to make it work better.

I have repurchased these shower hair catchers at least 10 times; I figured it was time to write a review. These work, great! I have two teenage girls with very long think hair. As my shower drain kept clogging, I was looking for a product that trapped hair without having to change the drain, or disassemble the bathroom drain. I found these! You just slide the chain into the drain and the flower sit right on top. Somehow the small plastic things catch ALL of the hair. I have not had to unclog the shower since using these. I put a new one in weekly (when I am cleaning the shower) and the amount of hair I pull out is crazy. These catchers are inexpensive and work so well. ... show more
