My shower is concrete & someone painted it with non concrete paint so it looks horrible. The hair catcher doesn't suction like it should, but it catches the dog hair when I give my dog a shower which is what I bought it for!!

We redid our shower floor recently and used a drain cover that allows too much of my hair to slip through so we’ve had to unscrew and clear the drain a couple times this year. I found these and they work perfectly for me. I don’t use them as intended however. The suction works really well to keep these in place, but I prefer to use them upside down, and then pick them up and rinse them off before setting on a rack to drain and dry. Lots of humidity here and realized that wet silicone tends to grow things pretty quickly. (My sink in the kitchen has a silicone drainer on the garbage disposal side and it took me awhile to realize the constant moisture is not a good thing. These feel nice and heavy, but not too heavy. I like the black, and of course I love the heart, even if I’m the only one that ever really sees it! ... show more

I can see why others have had issues with his drain catcher, but I am fine with how it works. I doesn't suction to the floor so if you have a shower drain in the middle and you are going to be walking on it then this won't work for you. My drain is at the end of my shower so I never walk on it and it stays in place with just the flow of water. It catches most of the hair on top, but some does get stuck under the bottom. I pull the hair off the top each time I take a shower and then I clean and remove hair from the overall catcher once a week. Hair can get caught in the suction cups on the bottom and soap residue gets gunky on the bottom. A simple rinse and wipe under the bathroom sink does the trick each week. I also wipe the main drain off each week. If you are looking for a keep in place, no clean catcher this is not for you. If you don't mind a bit of regular, quick cleaning then this catcher works really well to keep hair from going down the drain. ... show more

Little heart shape is clear and cute, however it doesn't fit my drain, and doesn't grip the floor. Some hair still gets underneath this as a result. Drains well, haven't had many issues with big puddles in my shower, yet. Feels cheap, is easy to install, and performs only ok.

I hate this I hate it every time. I see it and realize that I should’ve gotten a metal one or even the plastic one that I ended up with from Walmart but I don’t like because it’s not flat but at least it catches stuf. This one has what are supposed to be suction grips on the back that don’t grip anything and as soon as the water goes on it it moves. I hate these things And now it’s more waste that’s gonna go into the landfill because I can’t figure out what else to do with them ... show more

Got for when I am bathing dogs in the shower. Works great but the puppy was able to pull it off the drain at one point. Wish suction was a bit stronger but kep dog hair from going down the drain in big clumps.
