I tried this spray on a stray cat that had gotten into a scuffle and had some wounds. I dabbed cotton swabs in it and cleaned the wounds off whenever he'd come around and they healed up nicely. I've used it a few times since for similar issues and while I can't say with certainty, it certainly seems to help. I've like other Dr. Bailey products and this one is no exception. ... show more

This Dr. Bailey's Miracle Spray seems like a good option for minor pet wounds. This hasn’t helped in any way with my dog's itching, but the spray definitely helps clean the area and speeds up the healing process. It's easy to use and doesn't irritate his skin at all, I’ve even used on a paper cut too. While it doesn’t help reduce itching, for my pup, it's a helpful tool for keeping wounds clean and promoting healing. I would purchase again in the future. ... show more

    • Like Spraying Water on Hot Spots

Have a new puppy whose hot spots are so severe it looks like hematomas/looks like he's been severely beaten & he constantly is scratching/biting himself whenever bored, excited, lonely, etc. I've tried changing shampoos, elimination (for allergies), increased flea management, pro+pre biotics, checked ears: nothing helps. So am in reaction, trying to minimize discomfort. Have tried hydrocortizone & benedryl so far: no effect. Tried a different medicated spray for hot spots, no effect. So tried this. Same exact result: like spraying water on the hot spots. No drying. No reduction in irritation. I (at the same time) began behavioral training against scratching & biting self. No difference whatsoever - + OR negative. No smell. Did discolor light colored carpet (so suggest trying over hard floors). So this wasn't helpful at all for us. In any way. My Australian Cattledog has a few hot spots on his rear leg, and he has been a bit OCD with licking them which is preventing it from fully healing and for the fur to grow back. I tried this spray which helps initially, but then within a half hour he will start trying to remove the bandage wrapping and attempt to lick his hot spots. Hopefully the spray will help it heal faster, but I still need to thoroughly wrap it to make sure he isn’t able to lick it while I’m not watching him. ... show more

We've used this on our dogs paws a few times now and it's already been a useful product for muddy yard season! I feel like even though this bottle is small, it will last a good amount of time because a couple sprays seems to go a long way on our medium sized beagle. There isn't a strong or unpleasant odor (at least to us) with this, as I was concerned there may be. Our dog doesn't seem to mind being spritzed with this as a between bath paw wash.
