I purchased this for my 2012 Nissan Rogue. Iurchased it for the backup camera, I’ve gotten used tonhsvung one. First thing I noticed was there is no documentstion with the radio. Did a search online and got a barebones manual. Installation was not too hard, $75 for adapter cables to my nissan. The radio does not have AM band, yes I do still listen to AM radio. The radio eas slightly smallervthen the one that was there but it was a minor concern, Inwas not intereted much in cosmetics. After install i figured the menu out. Press volume button to vpchsnge modes (FM, BT etc…) car play works well but have to be connected to the radio via cable. For the price it was a good deal. Sound is good. Also vomes with a remote control thst can be put on sterring whell for better control. If you are handy you can do the install yourself in about 3 hours. Looking for an inexpensive system for your car to bring into the present I recommend this product. ... show more

    • Stopped working within 3 days of install
I was really bummed/frustrated about this project. Install was quite frustrating because it did not fit even with the proper double din kit for my car. I had to find a way to get it to stay in my car and it was still protruding from the center console. Once I did end up getting installed I was satisfied with the product. It wasn’t amazing (but what can you expect for $100). It blew a fuse in my car after being in for 2 days the screen went completely black. I uninstalled the system and purchased a Kenwood double din radio WHICH I LOVE. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and it has been operating perfectly- no blown fuses lol. My final thoughts and warning to you all: DO NOT BUY THIS RADIO, DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THE FRUSTRATION OF DEALING WITH IT. ... show more

The usb port broke like 3 months into having it, so i cant get apple car play any more, after like 5 min of playing on full volume, the sound fades away, so no blaring music unless you run a separate amplifier

    • Does not fit 2006 Camry (Edit) Without A Good Adaptor
I messed around with the previous double-DIN adaptor i bought trying to make it fit for so long that the return window closed. Recently Metra came out with an adaptor that looked like it would fit these not-quite-double-DIN-standard Chinese head units. It does, but not without having to do drill and trim new holes for the mounting screws. Now that it's installed and working here are some impressions. The good: - Sound is good both for FM radio reception and for playing off USB drives and TF cards. - If you hunt long enough under the SETUP icon, you can find the Sound menu. Among other things, there are preset 13 or 15-band equalizer presets along with a customizable EQ. There are also other settings, including one to turn of the loud and annoying BEEP that occurs when you push any of the 'buttons" on the screen. - Setting presets for radio stations is easy. The not-so-good: - Settings are not saved if the unit is removed or if you disconnect your car battery. If you do either of those, you have to go back to setting up the radio from the beginning. Pity that there's not a spot for a coin battery to keep the memory powered. - Navigation through the various modes is not as good or as logical as it should be. It takes a while to learn. - For navigating the "tunes' menu on the USB drive/TF card, the names of the tracks are in red and aren't easy to read. - When you open a folder through the "tunes" menu, it defaults to the number of the last track you played from the previous folder. It should start the selection at the first track in that folder. - After listening to a track on the USB drive/TF card and stopping and restarting the car, it will look like it's starting to play that last track. But it doesn't. You have re-select the track to listen to it. - In general, the software implementation is more like a late beta test than a final 1.0 release. Haven't done anything with the backup camera or Apple Play yet, so I can't comment on those. We'll see how durable it ends up being. (OLD REVIEW BELOW) Severe disappointment OK. Technically it fits a 2002-2006 Toyota Camry, assuming that you custom cut an adaptor plate out of a piece of plywood and jam the ugly thing into the dash. This head unit is an oddball size, so it doesn't fit any of the dash kits Amazon sells that claim to fit these years of Camry. Spent 2 hours trying to make it fit in a dash kit I bought. Gave up. Put the old stock Toyota radio back in and I'm going to return this head unit. I test ran it with harness adapters. It does sound good. It receives all of our normal FM stations well. Doing station presets is easy. EQ is easy to set. Fade and balance are easy to set. Pity that I didn't get to test CarPlay or play tunes on a TF card. ... show more

Hopefully no one is expecting BOSE quality here. It's inexpensive for a reason. It has a lightweight feel like a toy. It snuggly fits 2 dim. So snug I didn't need to use any mounting hardware. I bought this to replace the original 1999 am/fm cassette radio in my e450 Class C camper. The ability to add a backup camera and utilize Android Auto is a big improvement for my rig. The steering wheel remote is a nice touch and I look forward to using it. Using Bluetooth while driving is great. It sounds just as good as what it is replacing but I am not an audiophile. Again, material quality is lacking but it suits my need just fine. ... show more

This stupid piece of junk quit working before I even finished installing it. I had no issues with it until I almost had it all the way in and the touch screen started acting up. I could restart my truck and it would work and then the calibrations were all off and it would not work like it’s supposed to. Save your money and buy something else.     • Love it in my 2001 F150
Love my new flat screen radio. Everything I needed to connect came in the box. I installed in a 2001 Ford F150. Some modification to dash to fit, but that is to be expected with an old truck. Radio came with a backup camera but I already had one and the new radio works great with old camera.
