So I will say there should be something before even purchasing the product that says does not actually charge your doorbell device but will give it a power source that will help your doorbell device stay charged longer. When I first received it I was under the impression that I charge it once remove the charger and the doorbell battery will last longer. No. You’re suppose to charge your actual camera to 100% put your device into the mount and leave it plugged into an outlet 24/7 .. so I followed the steps and I’ve had it for about 1 full month and a week or so and I haven’t had to charge my actual doorbell device as of yet. It supposed to last while plugged in with your camera charged at 100% for 3 months before you have to remove and charge the device again . ... show more

Finally time to use this product to charge my ring. The mount works just fine, but it does not charge. The green light comes on indicating that its charging, but it does not. Very disappointed and a waste of money.

    • It is a decent product. There could be a few adjustments
It is made so you can flip the product over and use it so you don't have to worry about whether your door opens to the left or right. However, they didn't make this same adjustment regarding where the charge port is located or give thought to the customer not having an outlet on the dominant side. When I use one on the back door, the charging poor is now at the top; I have gone through 3 cords in 3 months as the stress point where it plugs in causes the wires in the plug to no longer work or break off altogether. The media could not be loaded. This is my first time having a ring camera and I absolutely love everything about it. You can literally set the settings up the way you want it to records and for how long. No cons about it !

Wow...this comes with everything you need to mount your Ring doorbell. I mean you get the tool and accessories needed to mount and wire it. They also give u extra screw and cushions to secure the item, plus the wire clips to secure a nice and clean look.
