We got this for my daughter and I to try and learn to play the drums. It arrives needing a full assembly. It took two of us about 35 minutes to put together. It comes with great directions that are easy to understand. It seems to be made well. The metal parts all feel strong and solid. All the slides fit snug. The cables and connectors all fit smoothly and correctly. The surface is sturdy. The throne is suitable, but there are much better ones available. I am not taking off any stars for that since it is a full starter set. To test it out we assembled it and then I sat down and made quite a bit of noise that is not at all what anyone would call music, but it was FUN! Next we let my daughter try it and she did better than I did. Hers actually sounded like music. The pads produced a very realistic drum sound. The cymbals sounded like she was tapping on real metal. We were very impressed, and even more impressed when she plugged in the headset so only she could hear it while she practiced. We would buy this again. ... show more

I bought this for my son. He is able to drum all he wants and not disturb me! He can practice and put his headphones on. They work very well and was easy for him to learn

This is definitely a nice drumset for kids. Its very light and the quality is good. However, since I'm a musician I can be a little bit more picky, but I was hoping I could have control of the volume/effects of each tom and cymbal since some of them sound way more louder then others depending on the effects you use. Plus when using the headphones each tom/cymbal is panned, for example you hit the HiHat it sounds on your left ear, if you hit the 3rd Tom it sounds on your Right Ear. It's a nice feature but I prefer to hear everything in both ears. That's pretty much my take, after all its my personal preference but overall it is a Great Drum set for Beginners/Kids. ... show more

One of my boys received this as a Christmas gift and has loved it! As parents, we love it because he has earphone to use with it. Nice sturdy set, easy to setup, easy for a child to control, and compact enough for smaller spaces!

My son loves this! It’s easy to set up and there is minimal to no noise. There are so many sounds and music that goes with it, my son never gets bored. It comes with all the sounds of a usual drum set so your kid won’t miss a beat…literally!

I bought this product for my grandkids for Christmas. They love the drums and the parents don’t have to hear it unless they take the headphones off and use the amplifier (purchased separately). The only issue they have had with it so far is that one of the pedals doesn’t work. My son has the information and is working on getting it replaced. The kids love the drums and the sound with the headphones is really impressive. For a bit more money I got them an amplifier ( parents request) so they can play the drums and piano together. ... show more
