I’m really impressed with the Doe simplified clanus Remote Control Car! I got it for my 6-year-old cousin, and he really loves it. The controls made it easy for him to figure out, even if it took a bit of practice. I was a bit skeptical about the age recommendation, but he’s had no trouble operating it. While I’m not sure how long it will last, hes definitely really happy with it right now. The battery life is decent, and he shows off the transform feature all the time! Drives and transforms easily. My 4 year old loves playing with it. But he has had it less than 24 hours and already broke part of the spoiler off. It came with rechargeable little battery packs for the transformer but the remote needs batteries and a red light will repeatedly blink if the transformer is off, wasting the batteries. I bought this for my infant who’s trying to crawl. I think ended up being a great tool for dad and son play time. My son tries to chase it while my husband controls it. It drives so well even on a carpet. On top of that, it can transfer to a robot which absolutely amuses the little guy!

My grandson liked this car but it broke pretty easily. Only a few times running it around and forgetting to let it change by itself instead of helping it. Maybe he was too young, he's 5 years old. I would not purchase it again.
