The stretch is perfect. It snugs like a light girdle. The snaps are a little tight but it wasn't a big issue for us. I wasn't sure if the potty opening was going to work but it did. My dog gets rashes on his stomach, and we needed something to help stop him from itching and biting and making things worse. We really liked the cute stripes on this one, and so purchased a medium, which is his normal size. The medium fit perfectly! And it helps him stop chewing and scratching, which is perfect! It comes with button snaps up the back, which could be annoying so keep that in mind! He’s a boy, so we left the crotch patch in tact, so he wouldn’t chew there. I would give -5 stars. Ordered this for my dog after his surgery. Came with blood and toxic waste on it from a dog I’m assuming that wore it before returning it. I’m disgusted because this could be from a dog that is sick and had a transmittable disease.. DO NOT BUY…. I feel like my 10 dollar gift card didn’t justify this… ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The neck is too large and slides down her shoulders, but her harness keeps it on. I got a 3X for the length/chest and I'm glad I did. Great replacement for the dreaded cone. She can move about freel and go out and relieve herself with it on. She doesn't mind it. I do wish it wasn't blue, but that's just a quirk I have, because I would have liked something girly. There are lots of snaps, but not to difficult to get on. I gave it 4 stars, but only because of the neck being so large, if she didn't have the harness on, I think she could get out of it if she wanted to. There is extra fabric that hangs down below her belly, but she is long and lean so that's to be expected and it's not really an issue, but that also means there would be plenty of room for a more filled out dog. We have a pit bull and thought this would be a nice summer outfit for him. However, we purchased a XL but it is really small for that size. The pup weighs about 50lbs and is short. The first time I put it on him I thought I had it on correctly but when I took him out he peed and it got all over it. I’ve turn it around multiple times trying to figure out which way it goes that will allow him to pee without getting on it but I’ve been unsuccessful. I washed it from him peeling in it but it must have shrunk because I tried to put it back on him another way and it was really tight and I struggled to get it off him. Literally thought I was going to have to cut it to get it off. He likes clothes so he was a champ but it scared me. This may work really well for a small dog. It is not really adjustable. It is hard to remove. It is not too stretchy. The fabric quality was fine, but it had a ton of snap buttons so again it isn’t easy to put on. I would not recommend for a mid size dog. I don’t recommend for a male dog and would suggest sizing up regardless. It’s cute on I think it just don’t work for us. ... show more

My 9 month old Vizsla got spayed and I popped her right into this, we haven't used the cone at all. For some reason when this is on her she calms right down and doesn't run around and act like a goofball ( normal behavior for her). I bought a second one so I can wash the original. It isn't super tight fitting and so it's not pushing agains her wound and there is room for air to move around. It's good fabric and seems to breathe just fine. It does have a lot of snaps but I get her front feet in first - praising her the whole time_ and do up the first two snaps at the neck. Then I get her back feet in and snap the last 2 snaps and then do some or all of the middle ones. She is slim and smooth coated and has slid out of it once through the night, but I don't think she knew she wasn't wearing it. We take it off to take a short walk or to give her a break and as soon as she puts it back on she calms right down, I'm not sure I understand it but we are 5 days out of surgery and she's healing really well. I'm very happy I found these, dont' get a super tight one, it's ok to have some room inside of it. ... show more

I have 4 dogs and have used one of these on everyone of them when they have gotten fixed or have something near the belly they aren’t supposed to mess with! It’s so much easier than the dog running into walls and things with a cone. 10/10 recommend. Also helpful they can get out of this one due to the zipper! ... show more

This is definitely more for female dogs instead of male dogs (even this it says for male dogs) I love thr fabric and thr buttons to easily snap on and off. However it doesn’t caver his bits at all… that was thr reason I bought it for his neuter in 6 days. For a female dog the wide butt is great for them to do their business but for a male it completely exposes his bits. Luckily I can see and will stitch it together but wish it would’ve said for females instead of males ... show more
