It’s so easy and it attaches to her collar. It’s not the awful cone of shame and she seems to love it. I only put it on her when I have to leave. She gets excited and sits still for me to put it on. It’s easy to inflate, easy to clean, fits both her and her sister, and it’s perfect price!

It was time for my little lady to receive the surgery that all responsible pet parents dread... after getting spayed, we came home with a MONSTEROUS Plastic cone worthy of the moniker "cone-of-shame". She was MISERABLE because the size she needed to fit her neck was so large that it kept hitting the floor. My 6mo Olde English Bulldogge was not having it and kept running into corners and walls and was absolutely miserable. So, I ordered a surgery suit as an alternative, but within a few hours, it needed the wash so we tried this donut. Look, you can't tell from the picture but that IS her happier face. Oh sure, she's still not footloose and fancy free, but she IS able to sleep comfortably and play to the extent I will allow while she is recovering. She can't fit through the dog door and yet still tries because she's a slow learner but she just bounces back and looks at me in disgust. Unlike the horrible plastic cone, the donut is soft against her skin so even when she does try to get somewhere she can't fit, it's not hurting her. She can easily get to her food and water but what she CAN'T get to is her incision and that is key here. She's tried shaking it off and it held firm. Plus, how cute is this? I highly recommend this for anyone whose dog might need protection from themselves. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

I needed an inflatable cone that would hold air overnight and be comfortable for my Golden Retriever. She had an internal malignant tumor removed, followed by a month of radiation treatments. It was essential that she couldn’t access the catheter that remained in her front leg or the external stitches on her rump. This inflatable cone worked like magic after her surgery, before radiation treatments began. It is very soft and remained inflated, allowing her to sleep with it on in her crate all night. I only had to re-inflate twice over five days! She wore it to her first two radiation treatments and several people asked where I got it so I referred them to this site. On day three after treatment, she unfortunately got to her catheter (but not to her stitches) and pulled it out. From that point on I had to put her back into the traditional cone of shame. I bought size large (her neck measured 18”) and ran her traditional collar through the loops as directed; it never came undone and she never tried to get out of it. I gave four stars due to the stiffness of the breathing tube and the inability to completely collapse it into the collar. I won’t hesitate to use it if needed in the future- as long as it doesn’t involve a catheter! ... show more

    • Came with a faulty valve -- bad Quality Control

I didn't care for the fact that you have to log in to get inflation and fitting instructions. There's a card in the box with a QR code, which I couldn't get to work. I finally found the manufacturer video online and he easily blew it up by mouth using the valve stem. I tried that and met resistance, with no air was going in! I messaged the manufacturer but then took an ice pick and gently placed into the valve stem. I hit a solid piece of plastic, not a flap or open stem. I finally pushed the ice pick through to make a hole and was able to get air into it, though it was hard since it only created a small hole and not a fully open diameter stem. There were cheaper donut collars on Amazon but I chose this because it's supposedly a good one. Pretty disappointed in the whole set-up piece when it should have been so easy to do--like blowing up a small pool inflatable. Bad quality control and maybe that's due to being made in China. ... show more

I have an Italian mastiff, this fit around her neck and was soo cute while doing what we needed it to. BUT in less than a week the pillow wouldn't stay inflated. I tried using the patch to fix it that they sent with the collar but the air leak was coming from the seem and impossible to re-seal. Wish it would have lasted longer since she was more comfortable than her other cone but it's useless when not inflated. ... show more

I am sure everyone would agree that having your dog in a cone is just as frustrating for you as it is for the dog. Although this doesn't do as good of a job as a cone keeping your dog from licking some spots it is a 100x more comfortable and still does a decent job. My dog was able to navigate throughout the house without running into or catching on furniture which in my book is a huge win. Also served as a great head rest for all my dog's afternoon naps while recovering. ... show more
