    • won't stay inflated.
Extremely hard to inflate & have to keep blowing up. The plug you blow into is very hard to blow into. Main thing is, It won't stay inflated has a slow leak. I have to inflate it again some more every couple days starts to deflate right away, losing air all the time. Did get another one that one did the same thing but to be worse that the 1st one losing air. The air in it should lasted longer than a couple days. Not worth to take a chance using this not knowing for sure if going to stay inflated enough through the night making sure a sweetie is not able to get to the stitches from his surgery. If I could give this product 0 stars, I would. Very unhappy with this product ... show more

We really like the dog cone. It was very comfortable for our puppy who had just had surgery. He loved it. It was like a built in pillow for him. He never tried to pick at it or scratch at it like the other cones. Sadly for him the cone began to leak at about day 10 and wouldn't hold air. He was supposed to wear it 14 days. All in all it was an ok cone it just didn't last long enough. ... show more

My pup is very much on the large size (75 lbs at 7 months), and has a problem with licking when he is bored. I was afraid what to do with him, after his neutering surgery, as the usual cone would have spelled disaster (he would have been a true bull in a china closet).. This made life much easier for him and us. Didn't take long for him to get used to it, and actually came to use it like a pillow once he did. I am so happy I took the chance on it... ... show more

This is definitely more comfortable than the plastic ecollar from the vet. I also think it's safer for not getting caught on things. It was very easy to put on. For anyone looking for size comps: He's a 50lb golden retriever, on the smaller side for his breed, and the XL fit perfectly. I think L would have been too small for sure. Unfortunately, even though XL fit his collar, it didn't actually stop him from licking. So I guess the only downside is...well, it had one job and it didn't do it. Our dog was still able to lick his incision after being neutered. If your dog is less flexible, determined, etc. it might work well. ... show more
