These pictures are before and after. I thought these clippers could not do the job, but I needed something to try. On a fixed income I can not express how amazing these clippers cut through all of my standard poodles hair like butter. It took me less then an hour to cut and groom him with these clippers and best of all they are rechargeable so no cords to have to fight around while shaving. I received these clippers and immediately oiled the clippers and let them sit for about an hour then proceeded with his hair cutting. His hair was so thick it was like sheering a sheep. I didn't even charge these to begin with and it did the job and was amazing. My dog has anxiety and hates his hair being trimmed but he was super happy and been more alive since his cut. Something of this stature would have taken me 2 hours to shave him so he could just start fresh but this took me less then an hour and my baby didn't seem to have an issue this go around shaving him. I am ecstatic at how well these clippers did. I would recommend these clippers to anyone who does their own dog clipping at home. A+++++ ... show more

As an owner of multiple schnauzers, I have done my fair share of grooming with both top of the line and budget clippers. I typically use my expensive clippers on my dog’s backs & sides, & save the budget clippers for the head because they tend to produce less noise. As far as budget clippers go, this is a decent set. I was expecting this set to be much like the other less expensive sets that I have, but was surprised to open its box & discover that it comes with a carrying case! This is nice & makes keeping your grooming supplies together really convenient - I personally hate holding onto boxes! Included with this purchase, you get a set of clippers, a metal comb, guards for several lengths, some clippers oil, and a charging cable (no power brick included.) The clippers, which has built in adjustable lengths, glides nicely through my dogs’ fur. While these clippers aren’t likely to last you forever (it is my experience that they wear down after a year’s time or so), they will get you through many haircuts at an affordable price. If you groom less frequently, they could last you longer (I typically groom once a month.) ... show more
