Works great if u have to shave down a dog to the skin or a matted dog. None of the guards pick up the hair the way you want it to to actually cut anything. Gets overheated to easy and when u do use to to shave a dog, theres a Velcro strip right under the blade that is terrible difficult to clean to clean the hair from and seems to not serve any type of helpful purpose.
