Super easy to use. Works landscape or horizontal. Has built in memory. Can set the weather and when you hold the cloud icon, you get the weeks weather forecast while also giving you the temperature. Plays videos too although the speaker isn’t the best but it works! App is easy to use. I can’t see a battery though to see how much it’s charged or if it just has to stay plugged in but for the price I’ll probably end up buying 2-3 more! ... show more

This digital photo frame is much better that I was expecting. There are a few things I find annoying about it but overall I honestly would buy another (and I just might). But let's start with the good. 1) It has 32GB internal storage (but will take external microsd cards) 2) It can connect to wifi to update firmware and allow you to upload and share images and videos, as well as show weather and time and date. 3) It feels fairly solid (for what it is) 4) It has a touch screen which is actually very responsive. The not so good : 1) Requires a proprietary app to sync (but you can just play photos and videos directly off the microsd card) 2) You have to manually tell it to use the external storage or else it will assume you're uploading photos with the app (this isn't a hard setting to change) 3) Requires you to set up an account to share photos with multiple users or give multiple users access to the frame (but if you only want to connect one device you can bypass this with guest access) Really, I'm picky about any "smart" device that wants wifi access, especially if it has a proprietary app. My philosophy is to share as little personal data online as possible. BUT this frame provides you with ways to bypass all that and so you don't HAVE to make an account or connect to wifi. But the functionality you get from connecting it is useful. I'll be watching this device closely over Wireshark to see if there's any suspicious communications but for now it seems okay. I will definitely come back and update this review if I discover anything of concern. But for now, I am quite happy with this frame and it's features. for the price I think it's a good deal. ... show more

I got this frame for my mom for Christmas and have started uploading pictures on it. It's relatively easy uploading the pictures and the pictures have good quality on the frame. It has a lot of options like putting a clock on the screen and different widgets. The only thing I feel like would make it better would be having an app I could upload pictures on even when I'm not near the frame. ... show more

We bought a few picture frames when they first came out to give to an elderly relative to have family images to enjoy. At the time, they required loading the files onto a thumb drive or an SD card, which made it a chore to renew the images. Nowadays, the frames have apps and internet connections, so they are much easier to keep fresh. This frame does a fine job of displaying images. It must be plugged into an outlet for it to work, but you can share images to a frame from anywhere using the Uhale app. Being uninitiated to the current state of the picture frame world, I can offer my observations, but I advise you to do your own homework before you decide what frame you would like to get. I like the features available with the Uhale app, but some of the operations are a little clunky, and I suspect there may be other apps that do similar things more elegantly. I can envision with whatever platform you go with that there are amazing things you can do if other friends and family members also are committed to the same platform. Just as you can create shared folders on your iPhone to let others enjoy the pictures you take, imagine having the ability to share your photos on a loved one's photo frame by just directing the image to go there from your phone? But there are some kinks I think need to be ironed out with the user friendliness of the Uhale app. For example, we added the same image twice to our frame, and have repeatedly selected the "delete" option on the extra one, but it never goes away. ... show more
