i would say this camera is best for taking pics for memories or that bad quality “aesthetic.” or to give to a kid who’s interested in photography, this would be a nice cheap beginner camera. the video feature isn’t that bad, the audio is grainy, but i didn’t expect it to be amazing for the price. it’s very small and easy to carry around on fun little trips. also easy to use and import photos onto any device. the flash isn’t that bright, it’s kind of just like a dim light that u can turn on and off. overall, if ur just interesting in taking cool pics on adventures with friends or family, this digital camera is good for that, especially for the price! ... show more

Wanted to road trip with a smaller camera but didn’t quite like the quality of the image. I have a larger nice Canon with multiple lens options that I took with us but I let one of the kids use this for the trip. It was easy for them to use. The only downside is that the batteries seemed to die pretty quickly. Even after charging both up each night they wouldn’t last for more than 15 of being powered on for taking pictures. ... show more

    • Works very well as a simple "starter" camera

After giving this camera a good tryout I think the best way to describe it is that it fills the same sort of niche that the old Brownie or Instamatic cameras used to fill back in the day. It is very simple to use. You point it at whatever you want to photograph, press the shutter button and the camera does the rest. No fiddling with f-stops, focusing, shutter speeds, etc. A child can use it. In fact, a child would probably love this as a first camera. The big difference is that in the intervening decades we've learned how to make silicon chips do amazing and incredible things and do them dirt cheaply. So this camera can take snapshots like those older film cameras, but it can take more than 100 pictures on one battery charge and they are essentially cost-free unless you decide to print them. Among its many tricks it also has a zoom feature, can detect faces, or make movies. It's mind-boggling that a cheap beginner's camera does all that. Which brings me to why this is a cheap beginner's camera at the same time that it is a technological marvel: the lens. More than any other component the lens is the basis for good picture quality. The lens on this camera is very basic, but quite capable of delivering decent snapshots. If that's what you want from a camera, this is a great choice. The more important that sharp, detailed picture quality is to you, the more likely it is that this camera may disappoint you. Bottom line: this gets four stars because it doesn't pretend it is a high end camera. It sells itself as basic and simple, with some whizzy features you can play with and that is exactly what it delivers. I chose to return mine and purchase a camera costing twice as much, but this one came remarkably close to making the cut. ... show more

My grandkids loved them. They are 7 and 8 and i only explained the use once and they were off. They each could capture the pictures they wanted and see them right away. We took long hikes on our vacation and this was a nice diversion for them at times. It was nice to have two batteries in case they forgot to charge one the night before. I am giving them money to make a memory book of their pictures and can't wait to see our trip through their eyes. ... show more

for the price i’d say it’s MORE that great. it had a bunch of different filters and you can listen to the videos your record through the camera. has a flash that stays on which i like and i like how you can turn off the feature that speaks when your welcomed and when the camera says goodbye

I got my sister this camera because she wanted to take pictures with a 2000s style. Easy to work and the memory card that comes with it has a good capacity. It is a bit loud and the sound it makes when you take a picture is silly, but my sister does not mind.
