its like for a child. on youtube videos people received die cutters with the package. i guess thats my fault. i want to add water to see if it will grow larger hahaha. it does cut on medium thick paper but thin paper and thick paper it has a hard time. but it does a good job on the thicker paper than the thin paper. ... show more

1st off the instructions are crap, and you feed the plates through the back NOT the front. 2nd it’s way smaller than I expected the plates are only 3” wide and 6” long so double check the size of the dies you buy. The window pane die I got won’t fit only pieces of it will. 3rd I noticed that the dies etched the plate so I have no idea if it will compromise the plates strength over time. There are great videos on YouTube for using this too and it is a great tool, however the opening is only 3 or 4 inches, so I have had some difficulty getting die cuts and embossing folders that fit.
