I've only tried this with 4W LED (40W equivalent), 5W LED (60W equivalent) and actual 40W filament E12 bulbs (varying from 2700K soft white to 5000k daylight.) They indicate they support a max of 200W, but I haven't tested any higher wattage E12 bulbs in them. The E12 bulbs twist in easily and securely, and the E26 base works as expected in every fixture I've tried. I show an image of a 4-way light fixture (in which one bulb is a 60W Equivalent soft white E26 halogen, one bulb is a 60W equivalent soft white E26 LED, another bulb is a 5W LED (60W equivalent) 5000k daylight E12 inserted into E26 adapter, and finally a 4W LED (40W equivalent) 2700k soft white E12 inserted into E26 adapter). So basically; 2 actual E26 bulbs along with 2 converted E12 bulbs all in the same fixture working harmoniously. Good value, simple but effective adapters. ... show more

Haven’t used these converter sockets yet because I can’t get the blown out light bulbs out of the ceiling fixture I am converting to candelabra bulbs. The old bulbs are stuck & I can’t unscrew them. I am afraid the bulbs might break if I twist them too hard, so still working on a solution. Will update when I figure out how to get the bulbs unstuck. ... show more

i replaced an old overhead light fixture with a new stained glass piece. however due to the curvature of the glass i couldn't fit standard bulbs into the sockets. my solution was to use these adapters and try candelabra type bulbs. I've not had the greatest luck in the past with these adapters but thankfully these were great. i had zero issues with them and couldn't be happier with the end results. fyi i ended up going with Alexa enabled bulbs which were inexpensive and with a better outcome imho. ... show more

2023-09-13: I had some E12 (candelabra base, 12 mm) bulbs I wanted to use and these are exactly what I needed to use those E12 base bulbs in an E26 (standard 120 V Edison U.S.A. light bulb socket, 26 mm) fixture. Seemed to be well-made and good quality.

These adapters work fine. I selected these because it stated that they were UL certified and heat resistant. Some sellers didn’t make this known outright for their item. One thing Is that these are made of plastic not ceramic as I would’ve preferred. At $8 for 6, I guess I shouldn’t have expected heavy duty. After using with Edison vintage style incandescent bulbs for a few hours, the adapters seemed fine and only slightly warm but I’m assuming it’s from the heat of the bulbs.
