I screwed this into a recessed can light in my desk area in the kitchen. It needs a extension for this use but not a problem. It screwed in and I have 3 spots to aim at featured areas. I found some great bulbs.... with only a 34 degree spot/circle to point at the 3 places/pictures on the wall. Not perfect but works.... First, I highly recommend using Daylight LED bulbs in these units because they draw less current and are much lighter than the old fashioned glass bulbs. I finally have enough light to see my way around the garage by going from 2 bulbs to 6 bulbs!
