  • Hands Free, Simple, Glorious, Stink Free
Color: Soft Mint
This diaper pail is amazing! We have twins, so that's a lot of diapers, and the hands free operation is priceless. Watching my friends squeeze dirty diapers, by hand, through the tiny openings on other styles makes me sad for them lol. As for odor, there is basically none. If you let it get super full you can smell a little odor briefly when the flap opens but by then it's time to change the bag anyway. And even then I've only smelled an odor if there's been a lot of stinkies in that batch or a recent one. Maybe we change it more often bc we have twins but it's still only once or maybe twice a week. If you only have one baby and you're out of the house at work a lot like we are, you probably don't need the plus size. But I also love this diaper pail because you can change the bag whenever you want! You don't need to wait for it to get full because the bag is continuous and you can take it out whenever. We're about to potty train and it's been going strong for over two years, zero issues. I recommend 100%! ... show more

  • Best Diaper pail & love the mint color
Color: Soft Mint
I originally got a white version of this diaper pail off the local moms fb page 2nd hand. So I have no idea how long she had it. But it FINALLY broke after 17 months with me. I started researching & looking into all that Amazon has to offer. I decided to stay with the 1 I love & can say I've used a few (I'm also a nanny). The no squish mess (with a lot of the others) is the BIGGEST selling point in my opinion lol. They also have several colors & the only 1 that I've seen in mint green (my favorite color & can do in any room). My 18-month-old has been able to throw his diapers in there (he likes it & I'm not going to stop him from helping- he's not forced) but it has a simple lock if it does catch his attention for a min. But is easy enough for him to work with the simple drop in & not touching anything but the foot pedal. My 1 complaint is that it does smell for a second when you drop a diaper in & especially when that door gets opened for changing the liner out. I got the tiny little munchkin arm & Hammer stay fresh pack. They are small enough to fit in by the liner. I also soak it in a super hot bathtub filled with borax & Oxi Clean for odors every other weekend. ... show more

  • Dekor Hands Down!
Color: Soft Mint
We currently have a Diaper genie in our child’s nursery, but we set up a changing station downstairs for when our 2nd LO arrived. At first we just tossed the diapers in the trash, which filled our trash cans too quickly and smelled the place up! I didn’t want to move the diaper genie because we still change diapers there as well and the lid has since broken. When going to buy a second one I stumbled upon the Dekor Diaper pail. The reviews were pretty good and this one would be more visible so I decided to buy it. Using and having both, I can confidently say that the Dekor Diaper pail is the way to go!! I’m so disappointed that I didn’t know about it when we got our diaper genie. Here’s what I love about it: -Dekor holds the scent much better than the DG (this could also be that the Dekor is new and the DG is a year old, so we’ll see if that changes.) -Its so much easier and faster to empty the Dekor and the built in bag cutter is a gem I didn’t know I needed. As I said we have the DG in the nursery and I Hate that I keep a pair of scissors (child safety kind but still) in that room just so I can cut the bag every time it needs emptied. The Dekor has a blade built in and it’s Inside the door so I never have to worry about the littles getting into it. -The Dekor holds more. I only use the DG mainly for night changes now, and I’m finding I still empty the bag twice as often as the Dekor. -I don’t have to shove my hand into Dekor to push down a couple diapers to make room. GROSS. My biggest peeve with the DG is when you’re only a few diapers in, you have to start holding the pedal halfway to get your arm all the way in there to shove those suckers down. Think gloves you use for cow bums but the craps IN the glove where you put your hand. Nasty! Granted when the Dekor starts to get pretty full you may have to push down a bit to squeeze in those last few diapers, but the open design does not make my hand smell like fermented baby butt frosting, so I’ll take it. -Lastly I love that the Dekor will be able to be used as a trash can after diapers. Having a dual function just makes it that more efficient and I can’t argue with that. If you’re torn, my vote clearly goes to the Dekor and not the dirty cow glove the Diaper Genie turns out to be! Happy changing! ***UPDATE*** 2/2022- purchased 12/20 So id you see the dates, clearly we’ve had our Dekor for a bit. I wish I could give this more stars! Two of constant use between 2 growing boys and a 3rd baby on the way, and it still operates like new! It also has helped significantly against odors compared to the Genie as well as bags. I don’t buy bags or change bags as often as I did with the genie. So I’m happy to say, still VERY happy with this purchase!! ... show more

  • Nice
Color: Soft Mint
This is really a great trash can for my girl's disposable diapers. It is plastic material, so kinda cheaply made. The only real "beef" I have about this is that the compartment door keeps coming open where you take the trash out. I would've given it five stars but, that issue kinda bugs me because it does not fasten very securely. If you have a toddler, they may get into it and possibly cut themselves on the cutter. I have a special needs daughter and this works great for her larger diapers, the opening to put dirties in is just perfect. And, the convenience of taking out just the trash with only 4 or 5 diapers is nice, instead of wasting a whole bag. I have only had it for a couple of weeks and I don't smell anything yet, as others have complained about this issue. Thank you ... show more

  • Very surprised
Color: Soft Mint
First off, I bought this as a cheaper alternative to a dog poop station. I keep it by the back door and whenever my dogs poop, I bag it up and put inside. The first 2 days I used it, every time the flap went down there was a bit of a smell. So I put an open box of baking soda in the bottom and forgot about it for a bit. The thing filled up to the brim with crap bags, and I emptied it for the first time yesterday. Was surprised there was no smell. I emptied it outside just to be on the safe side but still. If you’re going to use this for diapers it might be a good idea to bag the diaper in another bag before putting in here and then doing the baking soda box in the bottom or buying those diaper genie munchkin things. I suspect that without those two aids there probably would’ve been a smell. At least whenever it sits for a week or two. ... show more
