These brushes are very stiff and actually the bristles were permanently bent as they arrived. The stiffness of the bristles still allows them to be useable, however, when doing more delicate work such as touching up the line on my beard, it is easy to flick the bristles messing up your line due to the stiffness. Getting 2 for the price is a good value and if you are looking for stiff bristles, this could be a great option for you. As of yet, none of the bristles are falling out, so that is good as well. Got frustrated using other brushes that were included in beard dye kits. Keep my beard really short, and this ended up being the perfect tool to get a nice even coverage. Firm bristles.
