I just used this shampoo & conditioner for the 1st time today. I have coarse, curly, color treated hair that's always been very thick except for some problem thinning areas around the hairline & crown. First the scent: I find it to be a very light fragrance, not bothersome at all. Sudsing: LOTS of suds! A little of this shampoo goes a long way! Which brings us to value: IMO, this shampoo/conditioner is no more expensive for the size than any salon product and less expensive than most. But none of this matters if your hair doesn't look good. I'm very happy with how soft & shiny my hair is. Also, drying & styling was very easy. Being really thick in the back, it takes forever to dry & straighten my hair and I usually wind up with some frizziness. But not today - my hair is soft & silky and there's no frizz. Hopefully it's going to work for my massive shedding and even help with regrowth.

I've been using this DHT blocker shampoo and conditioner set for a few months now, and I'm really pleased with the results! My hair feels healthier and looks fuller, and I’ve noticed less hair shedding in the shower. The shampoo lathers well and leaves my scalp feeling clean and refreshed. The conditioner is moisturizing without being too heavy, which is great for my fine hair. Together, they’ve made my hair feel stronger and more resilient. I am giving 4 stars because i don't really think it actually blocks dht. However I did notice a difference in my hair so it is effective in that sense. There may be other products that actually block dht but this product will help your hair overall. Helps with hair loss and thinning. I waited a while before I could write this review. I wanted to make sure that it actually did what it was saying it was doing. I was very happy with the results. I now have little baby hairs were there was no hair before. Which Thrills me to no end. The smell is Pleasant enough I'm not offended by it. I tend to go through the conditioner a little faster than the shampoo. But they both work my hair feels nice I have naturally curly hair. So as an added bonus to not only making my hair thick again it is like crack for your curls. I haven't used a straightener since I started using this. I now get a nice uniform curl again. I see that it's out of stock at the moment I hope that's temporary if it's not you'll hear crying from wherever you are in the world cuz I will be a big baby about it. I hope it works for you as well as it works for me I'm sure results vary depending on your biology and how well you follow the directions on the bottle. I know some people mention the bottles being broken I didn't have that problem all right well and good and ready to go. it has it has a lot of natural oils in it but my hair is never greasy or Grody it always feels the lightest it has ever been.

I haven’t had the product long enough to see much change, but the scent is good and it does feel like I’m getting a good wash. Be prepared, the packaging/handling isn’t the best so anticipate a potential mess and loss of product right away. Both the shampoo and conditioner arrived busted open and one of the pumps arrived cracked. It was a messy package to open and deal with.

Their Amazon presence leans heavily into the DHT blocker component to attract men and women who are losing their hair. Most people who are losing their hair are losing it because they have androgenetic alopecia. If they have done ANY research to determine WHY, they know that the male androgen dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is responsible for their hair loss, and that's why people buy this product. However, when you get the product, the labels do NOT indicate that the shampoo and conditioner are DHT BLOCKERS. Instead, each bottle's label states that it is a DHT Shampoo and a DHT conditioner, prompting people to think that DHT is a GOOD thing. Do they think we are too stupid to realize the connection between DHT and hair loss? The all important word BLOCKER is missing after the word DHT. DHT is the hormone that causes hair loss in both men and women. When you look at the ingredients, they list all these eco-groovy herbals ingredients that have very little connection with preventing hair loss. There is no mention of hair loss, hair thinning or hair growth on the actual bottles you get from Amazon, despite their explicit statements in their Amazon advertising. It is deceptive advertising. I have purchased ProBliva shampoo from Amazon which states on the bottle that it is a DHT BLOCKER, and the DHT blockers are Zinc PCA (to regulate sebaceous glands and block DHT), Green Tea (which reduces cholesterol and blocks DHT), and Kapilarine (which stimulates hair regrowth and maintains its strength). I am NOT promoting ProBliva, because I'm not sure it's very effective, but at least it doesn't make my hair greasy and stringy 24 hours after shampooing, like this product. I can recommend PRP to those of you who are losing your hair. PRP is Platelet Rich Plasma. You have blood taken from an arm, that blood is put into a centrifuge to separate out the plasma, the plasma is injected directly into your scalp. That plasma of yours has human growth hormone in it, and stimulates your hair follicles to produce thicker hair strands. I'm only 3/4 of the way through the four treatments, but I can tell you that I have a ton of baby hair growing everywhere--top of my scalp ( I look like Dagwood Bumstead with all these cowlicks) , at my temples. It's ridiculously expensive though. And PAINFUL!! But the 13 or so injections only take about 2-3 minutes. The success rate is about 70%. I thought I would be in the 30%, but goodness, I am seeing all these baby hairs sprouting. Hope this helps my fellow hair loss suffers.
