When I first saw the Dezin cooking pot I thought it looked interesting for keeping food warm at a company event or family gathering (and even picnics with portable power). But it turns out I use it in the kitchen all the time, which I never expected to do. My favorite use for it is steaming life back into foods. It's so quick (all you do to steam something is just add water, plug in, select 1 or 2, and in a few moments you're steaming your food... it's that fast and easy! I'm sure there are lot's of other great examples on how to use this product in other reviews too. Did I mention it's easy to clean too... it is lol So in short... It's a very versatile, quick & easy, kitchen tool. That's also portable, which means you can take it pretty much anywhere and use it on almost any surface. That even means you can use it on fabric or wood table tops. Oh and that's while your cooking or serving piping hot food! Yep! No hot pads necessary! The media could not be loaded. Purchased this pot because I’ll be working out of state and living out of an hotel room for 2 months , I’m so glad I made this purchase I Absolutely love this pot, it heats up quickly. I first made hamburger meat I was excited because it was like I was cooking on a stove top, but much easier! After I finished cooking the meat I just wiped the pot and put water in it to boil eggs. It took about 4 minutes for the water to start boiling, 7 minutes to get water to the rolling boil. , my eggs were done in 15 minutes! I did have the lid on it, when it boils on high a little bit of water may trickle down the sides but not much. The lid is glass so it does get hot and just be aware where you position the holes, obviously steam comes out of them, lesson learned for me, lol. The pot itself ( the outside) didn’t get hot at all, very pleased with that. I was cooking on the high option too. It comes with a utensil, it’s perfect for it, with a rubber tip. The nonstick surface makes it extremely easy to clean , I literally just added water and a spritz of dawn wiped it down then dried it off. Pan cools off quickly too so once you’re done you can clean it and wrap it back up and your kitchen is clean again! Haven’t used the steamer but I have no doubt it’s going to be excellent ! 10 out 10 , if they had a sauté pan I’d definitely buy it, wouldn’t even need my stove! ... show more

Easy to use product. however it's not easy to pack due to the handle it's portable enough that I would leave it at work and not mess with it. it is a hassle to move it around due to the handle that doesn't let me pack it in my back and had to have a big nylon bag to carry it in. I wish that the handle was smaller or retractable. otherwise, the pot works well as described. it does not take long to heat up and cook fairly well. the first few times when I used it, there was this plastic smell that was kind of scary. I thought the plastic got burned or something but it ended up being fine. after using it for a few weeks I think it is a good product to have. perfect to steam frozen food for lunch at work ... show more

Can they make a whole pot set? Cuz when I go camping this thing come in handy. Super easy to clean just wipe it out. Non stick. Heats up fast. Like what more could you asks for? I love using this I wish I had a whole pot set of this. Good for dorm life camp life van life and so on.

Additionally, the bottom is large enough to be used as a skillet. When empty, the heavy handle can cause the pot to tip. So, be careful.
