  • This nailer is a beast
This finish nailer comes with a hefty price tag. But after substantial research, I decided that this DeWalt angled, finish nailer is exactly what I need to finish up wood work. This nailer is very powerful and didn't disappoint even once. Highly recommended.

  • Works Great
This nail gun works great for me. All my Dewalt tools work well.

  • Pretty nice nail gun
It's a little heavy, but at least I don't have to drag air hoses everywhere. I will be buying other size nailers in the future. They are a bit expensive, so I'd wait for when they're on sale.

  • Great tool.
This is the perfect gauge for most trim jobs and the angled magazine helps you get into tight spots. Glad to have this one in my arsenal.

  • Love it
It's a bit heavy but if you want something heavy duty.... it's bound to be heavy. Works great.

  • Overall excellent tool.
I’ve had previous 15 gage angled finish nailers, pneumatic and Senco Fusion battery. This nailer lives up to the expectations I had for a trim nailer. It consistently drives nails and sets them repeatedly. The battery life meets my expectations but don’t expect to get a day of heavy use on a single charge. I have plenty of 20V packs to swap so it wasn’t a priority. The nailer cycles quickly and always seemed ready to fire. When setting down, the nailer can stand on the battery pack keeping your workspace more organized. Minor criticisms: The adjuster for setting nail head depth felt very hard to turn and the rotation to turn the adjuster felt opposite to me. The weight of the gun is heavier than previous nailers used but Dewalt has made it very balanced from an ergonomic perspective. Overall, recommended if you want to spend the extra to go “hoseless”. ... show more

  • last 3 to 6 nails don't come out
High power. Good balance, Highly portable. Used on hardwood stairs. I am a huge fan of Dewalt power tools and have over 10 Dewalt tools ranging from small drills to high end miter saw. The one problem, and a very significant problem, with this finish nailer is that it does not eject the last 3 to 6 nails in the strip. I have gone through 6 strips of nails ranging from 1.25 to 2 inches, trying different ways to correct the problem, including inserting another strip. Nothing seem to work. The biggest problem is that you have no clue that the nail gun is not shooting nails. The nails are not jamming. The gun shoots. Just with blanks. By the time that you realized this problem, you need to spend the time to go back and look at all the nail holes to see when the gun stopped shooting nails. I love the micro nose. It's so precise, you can almost drive a nail to a precise spot as small as a pencil tip. I'm going to get a replacement and see if the problem is just on this one unit. ... show more

  • Perfect nailer
Right out of the box I drove about 200 nails installing trim. Worked flawlessly. Highly recommend for light duty jobs.
