This supplement is a life saver. Because of Adrenotone, I was able to get off of long term steroid use due to a pituitary tumor and very low, almost non functioning adrenal glands. I weaned myself off of the steroids very slowly and couldn’t believe it when I found that this miracle pill works better then the steroids did. My acupuncturist boyfriend recommended 1 or 2 capsules daily when I was waking up in the middle of the night. And it does help with that. When life stressors increased and my bottle ran out, I became aware of a sensation I call "squeaky adrenals", on either side of my diaphragm, under my ribs--feels like a rush of adrenaline and my body says, "Oh No!" for even small worries. I started taking two in the morning and two at night and that sensation diminishes significantly. My nervous system has much less of the "oh no!" state at this dose. Used this to come off a serious coffee addiction and I think it helped but can’t be sure. Do get a bit of after-affects in the form of lethargy after taking a few days and then stopping which is probably because of the tyrosine hangover but I feel comfortable recommending for adrenal fatigue as a supplement to a healthy diet , not a substitute to one. ... show more
