The media could not be loaded. I love this brush . Had it for about 3 months only the gold label rub off and slight bend in the plastic bristles. But so far so good. I was afraid of the possibility of rotting of the red rubber part the bristles are in but t feels very strong and sturdy. Detailed well and leave a shine in my hair after brushing. I live the bristles they are strong for my volumous curly hair and scratches my scalp..in a good way ... show more

It goes through my just above waist length, thick, wavy hair wonderfully!! I love how my Denman quickly detangles my hair and with so many bristles to separate the strands, my hair dries in no time!! Love my Denman!! The handle is a comfortable size (the previous brush I tried had a weird shaped handle and I seemed to have a knack for flinging it out of my hand while brushing, lol) I selected the 9-row Denman as I wanted enough bristles to get through my hair and wasn’t sure the 7-row would be enough (turns out the 7-row is perfect for my youngest daughter’s long, fine and slightly hair!!) This brush also fits well in my purse, making it easy to brush my hair on the go!! Have I mentioned yet how much I love this brush?!! I did a lot of research before I bought this brush. I knew I wanted a Denman, but I had no idea there were so many brushes to choose from!! I've had a classic, Denman brush exactly like this since I was a young girl and it's still the best brush I have ever used. The brush has smooth, nylon bristles that have rounded tips. They are set into a rubber base that flexes so it's very gentle on the scalp. The bristles are set fairly wide apart so it's fantastic for brushing and detangling thick, long and curly hair without pain or damage to your hair. However, it works beautifully on any hair. It's very easy to clean and is almost indestructible. The bristles never break or get rough. The handle is impervious to water and is virtually unbreakable. I've had my old one for at least 20 years old and the only reason I bought this new one is that I accidentally left the old one behind when I was out of town. I'm thrilled that this new one is exactly like my old one (except I chose the black handle instead.) I also got a second one for my teen son with waist length hair because I was tired of him taking off with my brush. ;-) ... show more

Got this after watching a YouTube video. It’s a very stiff bristle brush-fyi. The top of the brush bristles are bent and despite by best efforts I can’t get them to straighten out. I feel like it was a brush from the defective bin.
