Everything looks fine but I guess I was expecting a little bit bigger package - the dimensions were right in front of me for both the package itself and the pots but it didn't sink in that this is pretty small stuff - for some reason I was picturing four larger pots that would have filled the window sill - since its a gift, I haven't opened it yet but the pots must be the size of shot glasses .. ... show more

The product that your get and what is shown are definitely different. The planters are pretty much more expensive Dixie cups. Definitely not worth its value.

It was a cute Christmas gift idea for my daughter who followed the instructions meticulously. Unfortunately, 4 months later and we have not have much success with the plants. I even fed them extra fertilizer. We have two small starts but they haven't seem to grow since they sprouted.

I love this little kit. The pots are perfect and they come with drain holes and trays which is super important when planting anything (why are any pots made without drain holes anyway 🤷🏻♀️). The only problem is the instructions are seriously lacking. I had to search online for instructions because the ones that they give miss important details. The kit also includes fertilizer (but there are no instructions as to how to use it) and extra packet seeds with no explanation as to what you may need the seeds for. An important thing to note is that the amount of soil is WAY more than you need. Of course, I never mind having extra soil, but I wish I knew this prior to mixing all of it with water. I suggest starting with 1/4 of the soil that’s provided and storing the rest until you may need it in the future. I purchased this kit because I really wanted an Aloe plant from growth seeds and was nervous about buying a full plant online. Sowed on 11/7/20. You can see I used the humidity seed tray w/ dome sets assuming the seeds needed that for germination. So far, two of the four succulents cups are showing progress. See photos. My recommendation is to please label the succulents separately. I found it hard when trying to figure out with pictures from the internet which ones matched the seeds in the mix. Another thing, included were only two soil pods, and they didn’t respond to the water immediately. Or maybe include a knowledge pamphlet detailing each seed variety I like the cups, maybe include two more to support the abundance of seeds variety in the mix. I’m interested in trying more starter kits, please let me know! :) ... show more

I planted these in may, and only 3 seeds grew into anything. Out of the cactus seeds, only one tiny little cactus is growing. These two are not looking like any succulents I can identify.
