The media could not be loaded. I have this de-humidifier in my bathroom to assist the bathroom fan in the meantime as it needs replacing. I am very impressed with the functional, compact, and attractive design. Just a press of a button and it pulls in all the excess moisture in the air. Around 20-30 minutes of being on, the difference in the air is notably less humid. I love that it changes colors and gives you the option to keep one color on, or turn off the color. It even has a night mode for energy efficiency where the fan is quieter. Running on it's regular mode, I still find it to be on the quieter side compared to other de-humidifers that I have tried. This dehumidifier doesn't really perform up to what it claims, but it's good enough for my needs. Also, it takes a few days before you start to notice results. I get about a 10-20% reduction in humidity levels (as in going from 75% to 55-65% relative humidity). After we got a draft sealed up in our living room, I noticed the hygrometer was reading substantially higher - I didn't even need to run my humidifier during the hottest parts of summer this year, and winter has been remarkably humid indoors when usually it is the driest for my apartment. This was fine for my houseplants but I started noticing the carpet getting a gross mildewy texture so looked into dehumidifiers. It's not as powerful as more expensive models where you can set the humidity level, etc but it's compact, quiet, and does a good enough job. If it's still too humid, open the windows and air out for an afternoon. ... show more
