    • It looks cool in my bathroom

I ordered this dehumidifier from Amazon Vine, and I have been using it in my bathroom. When I first set it up, I was surprised at how sleek and compact it looks, and at the same time happy too. Because it fits neatly between the bathroom cabinet and the toilet, and since the tank has a pretty decent size, I don’t have to empty it constantly, which is great. It has been running quietly in the background, which I appreciate because I don’t even notice it is ON, since the bathroom fan on the ceiling runs louder than this dehumidifier. Plus, it is doing a good job reducing the humidity level in my bathroom. While I am in the shower, I keep both running, the ceiling fan and the dehumidifier to make sure the air feels less damp, and I’ve noticed less condensation on the window and walls. I also really like the auto shut-off feature, because I turn off the fan before leaving the bathroom but I do keep the dehumidifier running since I don’t have to worry about checking the tank all the time as it turns off by itself once the tank gets full.     • Light duty, quiet dehumidifier for moderate humidity issues.

So this is a solid state dehumidifier, likely with peltier plates. If you have a musty basement or other real humidity issues, you need a different dehumidifier, one with a refrigeration system in it. This is a light duty dehumidifier, suitable for a bedroom, office, closet or pantry. It’s a comfort humidifier, quiet and uses less energy. Now when I say quiet, there are some princess and the pea sleepers out there, it’s not silent, but I personally don’t consider it noisy. There’s a fan in the box that blows air. It’s no more noisy than a fan would be. It’s definitely much quieter than a traditional dehumidifier that has a compressor inside. It has the features that I would expect, when you remove the water bucket, the machine stops running. There’s an LED light on the tank so you can see how much water is in it. You can change the speed of the fans based on noise level or how much dehumidifying you want to happen. The only feature I’d really miss is a water pump, but since this isn’t really a humidifier you would put somewhere with a real problem, it’s ok to periodically dump the tank.
