Features

  • A BATHROOM SOLUTION: Discreet, reusable urinal for women that provides a revolutionary bathroom option to pee standing up. Take it hiking, camping, to concerts, porta potties, traveling and more; no more crouching!
  • PORTABLE + CONVENIENT: Fits in your backpack, purse, pocket, or glove compartment and is TSA compliant. A must have for outdoor activities, hiking supplies, road trip essentials, limited or unsanitary bathroom facilities, restricted mobility, and post-surgery.
  • CLEAN + HYGENIC: Made of high-quality and durable medical-grade silicone with co-molded plastic so it does not collapse while in use. This female urinal funnel is moisture wicking and eliminates any mess or spill, keeping the user and those around them clean.
  • EASY TO USE: Simply hold against your body, form a seal, aim, and go! The EllaPees longer spout carries urine further away from your body and the narrow shape requires you to lower your pants less, giving you more privacy.
  • REUSABLE + WASHABLE: The EllaPee portable bathroom easily stores in its own carrying case for discreet use. Both the item and its case are washable and reusable. Available in multiple colors.

  • Goodbye, hiking anxiety
Color: Purple
This is my third, and final I'm happy to say, female urination device (FUD). Much like the bed in Goldilocks' fable, this one is just right. The first (obtained on Amazon long enough ago that I don't recall the name) works adequately if you drop-trou. It's a little better than just squatting because you can aim into the cat hole you dug. But really, anyone used to peeing it the woods can do that without an FUD. The spout on it is in no way adequate to use without a wardrobe malfunction of some sort. It still requires lots of privacy so you don't moon innocent hikers. The second is a She-Pee which in my case should be called She-Peed all over herself. I never tried this on the trail because I could never not pee on myself during practice. The reservoir is not wide enough to catch all the pee, especially if you, like me, try to stay hydrated on a long trail with little cover and end up having to go like a racehorse. The basin isn't wide enough and the detachable spout is a drip point as well. Third and final is the Ella Pee which I found while researching the Tinkle Bell (the creativity of the names of these things!) which comes highly recommended from NYT/Wirecutter. The EllaPee was slightly less expensive which was a deciding factor because I ordered more than one FUD to try. I'm so glad I did. For the next two days after I received it, I practiced with the hiking bottoms I wear most often: either shorts or pants with zipper. At first it was a squat work out because I was afraid of peeing on my feet. Women are just not used to this stance. Once I realized what I was doing, I developed a system, as follows. 1) Unzip and open fly as wide as possible. I don't know how to achieve results with tight clothing or draw-string pants. Others can, I was unsuccessful. 2) Stand up straight with legs slightly apart, knees unlocked. No need to squat. Stand so there's room to get the device and your dominant hand down your business. 3) Move underwear aside with non-dominant hand. 4) Put the device down your pants, fitting the back to sit comfortably but not tightly against the perineum. You will be tempted to wedge it in tight but don't. The front, hose part, sticks out the fly like a dude's factory equipment, in case that wasn't clear. 5) Pee. 6) Wait for drips to stop, remove the device and clean yourself as you see fit. I purchased a pee cloth which snaps to my day pack. I also have spray sanitizer and a travel bidet. I obviously can't use the bidet as designed with this endeavor but it does make a good rinse for the EllaPee. This may seem like a lot to carry just for peeing. For me it's worth the weight. I get anxious about trying to hold it for as many hours as the hike is plus travel to and from. No more sublimating my pee! ... show more

  • Perfect design!
Color: Gray
I've tried several other products and this one is the best so far. Quality material, easy to use, handy case, no leaks, no wet pants, panties or shoes and affordable. What's not to love? Definitely getting several more. One for the car, boat and backpack.

  • I never leave home without it!
Color: Purple
Okay, if you are on the fence- get it. Seriously, this is one of, if not the best purchase I have made in the last 2 years. I use this all the time. I use it for what I bought (edit: typo) it for- hiking and camping- but it's also great for long road trips, bathroom emergencies, and even portta potties (so you don't have to sit on the seats). This thing is great for cons, festivals, trails, roadsides, literally anywhere and everywhere. Of course if you can get to a bathroom do it lol, and make sure you are a safe distance from water and campsites (200ft+) but seriously this is great. *Note- this particular brand/type does not fold down like some others do, but I got this one because others said the rigid edge helps not get pee all over. I haven't tried other ones, but this one is very clean and easy to take care of. I pair this with my holey hiker backpacking bidet (which fits with my pads nestled in the cup inside the zipper pouch) and just rinse it out after each use and I haven't noticed any smells or it feeling/looking dirty. Seriously great. Kula cloth is next on my "to buy" list. With those 3 together honestly I'll be unstoppable lol. Just buy it, trust me, best $12 I ever spent. ... show more

  • Interesting device!
Color: Teal
I purchased this and the Venus to Mars female urination devices to try this stuff out. Similar price, utility, and included carry case. I thought I would like this one better because of the soft silicone rim and the enclosed exit tube, but when I've tried it I've found that it can be hard to aim the stream of liquid because sometimes it will come out in like a spiral through the tube and constantly change direction. I didn't have this problem with the Venus to Mars. It's usable, but I have to be more careful with aiming. Otherwise, the fit and comfort level were fine. It is larger and bulkier than a device like the Venus to Mars, so a bit less discreet. Maybe it would work better than the Venus to Mars if you needed to pee in a bottle? But I have not tested this out. ... show more
