it is a good sturdy mat however after using it for about a month I cannot get it to go completely flat. there is going to be some curl at the ends that you can't possible get out. Otherwise it's a good and solid mat.

I give it 3 stars only due to the extreme amount of effort it took to unroll this thing, and its under my chair now with ripples. I am sure it will flatten out over time, but it was ridiculous how hard it was to open up. I had to get a second person, and I am 6'5" and 300 lbs. I'm not weak. I’m using this in my home office to protect the flooring from the chair. It’s about the thickness of a nickel. With that knowledge, if you buy this you will need to have something heavy to put on top of it for a few days to flatten it out. It comes rolled up in a tall box. I don’t really see that as a negative, from the reviews I knew it was going to need some days before I utilized it. Great product. I’ll probably buy another one for my husband as well. ... show more

It is a bear to get flat. I let it warm up in the sun and then placed flooring tile boxes down to flatten it. Still not quite flat but it may take more time. I like the texture, it keeps you from rolling away.
