Very easy to install, mounted in 2 minutes and sighted in with a bore laser at 5yrds in 2 more minutes. It's well fitted for the pistol and has no wiggle so I'm confident it will stay sighted in for that range. I'm not sure about battery life but I have no intention of casually waving around a firearm as a flashlight, the real question will be how long the battery maintains its charge. If it lasts through a session at the range or running drills then I'll be happy. It's fairly light but still adds a little more forward balance to my pistol so I'll definitely need to practice more to get used to it. The flashlight is pretty bright, it would definitely be useful in a potential home intruder situation, the strobe light is nice to have too. With all that in a tiny package it's a huge upgrade for my pistol for a low price, honestly I wasn't expecting it to be as well made or work as good as it does so I'm pleasantly surprised. Of course it won't fit in more old holster so I will need to find a new one or have something made by a leather crafter and that's the only downside. The green laser is easy to sight in, easy to mount, and easy to adjust if needed. Honestly couldn't find somewhere in the city to test it far enough near to see where it maxes out so you will have no problem with the distance you need. Also very clear at a distance. I've had a hard time finding a laser/light that would fit my PT111 G2 but this one fits perfectly. Taylor made for this pistol. Easy to install and site. The flashlight and laser are plenty bright for inside home protection. The only negative is the laser switch is on one side of the pistol and the light switch is on the other. I am rating this product a 3/5 because it was not a good laser. When I tried to put it on my Glock it would shake around in place and did not seem to grip very well. It would constantly move around so I was unable to use it as it would not hold my laser steady and I would constantly need to readjust. The reason I did not rate it lower is because it looks nice, the zeroing itself was simple and effective, and to turn it off and on was super easy.
