Take your head protection to the next level with the Defender Safety H2 helmet. Redesigned from the ground up, the H2 helmet revolutionizes safety helmets. Each feature has been engineered to maximize comfort and protection. The outer shell is made with a proprietary blend of ABS and Polycarbonate giving it not only superior top and side impact protection, but also resistant to high heat and scratches. The H2 Class E utilizes the VOLTFENSE technology which creates a barrier between the outside of the helmet and the suspension reducing the electrical risk exponentially. Our engineered suspension system has also been upgraded with premium materials that boost durability and adjustability, giving you precise control over a custom fit. With dedicated attachment points, the H2 can be easily customized with multiple accessories such as welding face shields, tinted visors, earmuffs, and more.

I must say it's an exceptionally comfortable and adjustable headgear. Despite having a seriously large head, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it fits and provides a secure fit. The sturdy shell and foam inner padding give me confidence that it offers ample protection, making it suitable for various activities. One noteworthy aspect is its impressive durability. The outer shell feels robust and can withstand knocks and impacts effectively. Meanwhile, the foam inner padding adds an extra layer of protection and ensures a snug, cushioned feel against my head. While I couldn't find any vents on the helmet, it hasn't been an issue for me. It's true that ventilation can be essential in some situations, but the absence of vents didn't bother me, especially considering the overall comfort and protection it provides. I can't emphasize enough how vital a comfortable helmet is for any activity that requires head protection. With this helmet, my worries about finding a suitable fit for my large head have disappeared. I replaced my worn out H1 helmet w/visor with a H2 w/visor. I was able to use 3M earmuffs on the H1 (it worked mostly), however they don't work on the H2. So, I bought a Defender earmuff... it stays on the helmet fine but the muff will not seal around my ears because the muff is way too large. I tried several things but no joy. The H1 an H2 both require a unique mount that I haven't encountered with any other muff manufacturer. Defender's muffs quality are also subpar and no where as near as good as 3M. The answer I got when I had to send these helmets back. I emailed defender and received the answer these will fit up to 8½ by the VP of sales they'll fit "maybe" 7¾ nice if you're wear that size. Beware shipping is extremely slow. To add to this review defender did contact me and made things right the best they could considering they didn't make a helmet big enough so it's not that mistakes are made but what you do to make it right that counts. ... show more
