I've wanted an RC car since I was a kid. Now in my 60's I finally got one - the Deerc H16E. What a fantastic choice! This sucker is FAST, durable, and it runs even longer (faster?) with the 2200mAh 35C batteries I bought. It also takes a beating and shrugs it off like nothing happened. Fantastic purchase. Re: customer service... I didn't install the wheelie bar initially, so with the 3 cell batteries this beast would flip itself onto its roof way too easily. So after I destroyed the body/shell, I tried to find another to replace it. Since I couldn't, I called Deerc and spoke to Brenda a couple times. She/the company was so accommodating - they sent me a new body. I've since installed the (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) wheelie bar and can once again drive this little beast with pride. This is the third Rc car i bought for my kids from amazon. We have a huge back yard with grass, and woods and to really enjoy it I wanted a car that could drive everywhere. The only reason i put 4 stars is the fact that the car only comes with 1 battery when 2 are advertised and was a main reason I chose it over competitors with similar costs. Pros: This one is awesome!!! great battery life, great speed and torque and easy to drive its very durable. Goes over anything I have thrown at it. I avoid water since its not IP rated. Cons: The car only comes with one battery. The advertisement has 2 batteries. I tried amazon customer support and reaching out to the seller, No answer. So I returned it for a replacement only to get one battery again??? Either change the advertisement/price, or check the inventory to realize they didn't package 2 batteries from the factory. Outside of the 2 batteries it is freaking awesome. So much so, that when my friend came over and tried it for 10 minutes, he ran home and bought one for his son. It is super fast, super durable and pretty much goes anywhere. If your looking for a car that will go on grass especially you have to have 4wd, if not just a little bit of dew, or if the grass is a little long (say a week past normal cutting) forget it, even the strong fast 2wd drive cars will just sit and spin on anything that isn't gravel or concrete. This one no issues.. we made ramps and jumps and they love it... ... show more

First off, the car is super fun! Just bought one because a buddy bought one. Thought it would be a fun pass time during work breaks. During one of the, sessions, lol, one of the control arms broke. I contacted Deerc through their website. After a few messages and pics I was told that they would send out a new control arm and I should receive it in couple weeks, if I remember correctly. After about a month I contacted Deerc again to find out what happened with my replacement part. They apologized for the mis hap. To rectify the problem, they sent me a brand new car, well the complete kit. That was pretty awesome!! ... show more

First thing, it's very quick, very fast. I was surprised when I first pulled the trigger on the remote. I couldn't control it, but after get usejust a few minutes I started to get used to the controller and stopped running into everything. It made it thru the learning curve without any damage. It's as tough or tougher than anything in its price range. I have only one miner gripe, I wish it had a different body shell available. A classic design,like a 50's or 60's truck body would look so cool. With two batteries, 2s/3s li-po, it has plenty of run time to satisfy most people. The quality of the materials used in the chasse, and hobby grade electronics are second to none. I highly recommend this r/c truck to anyone that wants to get more for less, with no regrets. Again, my son used it once. Made a point to tell him to keep it out of water and such though description shows other wise. Just driving full speed clips managed to snap off and it’s having issues and not running again. Super disappointed especially for the price. I recommend spending double or more unless you can any continuous issues… They did replace the first one without issues atleast. Yet now I’m out the money, with broken car, and extremely upset autistic son. ... show more
