    • Very fun hose; however, they only last about 4 months before springing severe leaks
When I first got this hose, I was in love with it. I would have written a 5 star review for it. Light weight and easy to use. Loved the sprayer nozzle and all the choices and settings. However, about 1 month into using it, the nozzle started acting up --- especially in terms of completely shutting off. But that seemed like no biggie. But then about 4 months after purchase, the hose sprung a really bad leak, rendering it unusable altogether. Because of the 1 year warranty that came with it, I contacted the selling company. They were very nice. I took some pictures of the leak on the hose. No real way of showing the issues of the sprayer. Anyway, they were pleasant to deal with and shipped me an entirely new hose and sprayer within a reasonable amount of time. So I figured I really couldn't complain and thought about writing around a 4 star review for them because I considered their service good. But I never got around to it. Then last night, around 8 months after my originally purchase and about 4 months after the replacement hose arrived, the replacement hose exploded all over the place. I don't think there's any way to patch these up. It seems a shame as I have really enjoyed using it and the company is nice. But I don't think that these endure longer than about 4 months. I don't think that I gave these hoses an exceptionally hard life. They just seem to fall apart for no apparent reason. I'm not sure if this warranty will extend to another replacement or not. I have yet to contact them this time around, but it all does seem a struggle and a waste. If you're willing to spend about $35 for a hose that lasts about 4 months, then go for it. I can't swear they are all this way, but in the hot California climate, these hoses seem bent on committing a relatively quick suicide. Update: I did contact the seller, Linquo, once again regarding the leaking replacement hose. They said they would replace the replacement as well after I sent them pictures of the new leak. These really seem to shred apart right in the middle. I did that, and they promised to send another one, but were a bit snarky this time, suggesting I should read instructions, as though I were guilty of hose abuse. The truth of it is that these only seem to last about 4 months before being a water spout. The thing is that although they promised to send me once again a replacement, it's been a couple of months, and no hose has arrived. I finally sent another message to them (find it hard to communicate through the Amazon system) asking if they could provide me with tracking or an estimated arrival date. That's been weeks now, and I haven't received any further response. Finally have contacted Amazon directly for help. They have kindly stepped in and told me if I will ship back the defective hose that they will refund the purchase amount. Sounds reasonable to me. I would have preferred to have had a fun but working hose than play all these games with this company and their product that does not last. Must layout and take out kinks as it does bid up and block flow unless you do so. Already see areas of stress in line albeit not at connection points - don't think it will last a year.

We were looking for a lightweight hose for my wife to use while watering the plants and this one is great. I would have given it 5 stars all the way but I am thinking I need to put a strain relief on the faucet so that the faucet end is not overly stressed. Might not be necessary but in our use it is often pulled at an awkward angle. ... show more
