I meal prep every weekend in order to control my budget and calorie intake. So, when I saw these and how affordable they were, I had to give it a shot. My first time using these, I use a little 1 lb package of cornbread mix and added a little reduced fat feta cheese. I also added blueberries to half the batch. This made 16 waffles! The blueberry feta cornbread waffles I topped with a piece of bacon, arugula, and perfectly cooked egg for an open faced sandwich. Man, these little things are great. We have a permanent place at a campground, and I bought them for there when my granddaughter is with us. We have a tradition that we have pancakes and eggs whenever she is with me. I tested these just in case they didn’t work. Well they work great! I made a waffle and a pancake that came out perfect. I mixed an egg in a bowl and slowly poured it on the griddle for a scrambled egg. It did the job but you obviously have to go really slow so it doesn’t just spill over the edges. It was labor intensive and took a while, but the scrambled egg came out fine. I imagine it would work much better for frying an egg, I just didn’t test it that way. I was worried about these little things, but now I want to buy a set for home, too! ... show more

I did enjoy using these for a while, but they are very small. You can cook 1/4 cup of waffle mix at a time, and it takes 6-8 minutes to get good color on the waffles, so by the time you finish a cup of mix, the first one you cooked has been done for 20 minutes. I've since gotten a larger maker with removable plates for easier cleanup. I may still use the grill for a burger, or the waffle maker for groups, but they'll all probably end up in a yard sale to save space. ... show more

I LOVE these little dash makers. I originally only ordered the waffle maker one to make the grandkids waffles and chaffle. After seeing there was a 3 piece set i had to order it. I still use the waffle maker but I love the grill one. I have only used it once so far and that was to make a boneless chicken thigh. It didn't take long to cook, it was juicy with good grill marks on it.
