I received mower very quickly. I ordered it on Friday morning and it was delivered on Tuesday in perfect shape. Remote paired quickly. It did include a charger for the drive batteries but it arrived with a 50% charge and they were charged to nearly 100% while mowing. It was as simple as oil,gas and pair remote and you are mowing. Very good and even cut. Steering with remote does have a learning curve however, you will get used to it very quickly. My ditches were dug deeper a couple of years ago and are a real pain to mow with a traditional mower but this one knocked it out in no time. Yes this mower takes a little more time than traditional mower but only added about 30 minutes and I'm sure part of that was me getting familiar with the remote operation. I have nothing bad to say at all. My suggestion is to buy one of these if you are considering it and if it is taken care of maintenance wise it is well built and should last a long time. Yes, this thing is pricey, but it also tackled everything I threw at it. This thing is a tank. It handled 4-foot-tall weeds easily. The mower got bogged down a couple of times and killed the engine, but the weeds were extremely dense when that happened and that will happen with any mower. Can it handle your slope? most likely. My slope exceeded 45 degrees in some places and it tackled it. I kept pushing the limit of this thing because it easily handled everything I put it through until I tried to make it go almost completely verticle, at which point I rolled it. The roll bar is there for a reason. I flipped it over, started it up, and kept on mowing. It sipped the gas too. I mowed about 1/2 an acre of a flood control easement, down one side and up the other, and it didn't use 2 gallons of gas. It's not a speed demon, but it'll get the job done. Also a little hard controlling the direction of the mower, it drift to either to the left or right while trying to go straight. I'm not only happy with the mower, but also DareDevil support. We first received a mower that wouldn't start, and after looking it over some was smashed up a bit, probably in transit. They worked with us on getting a different freight company to deliver to us and pick up the broken one. The new one's great. I have zero complaints. This machine is very slow and I also noticed a bolt was missing when I finished cutting the grass. It took us twice as long to cut the grass and the tracks tore our lawn. The throttle keeps moving back to low position which causes the mower to kill often. The tracks will not allow you to get close to a fence so you will have extra trimming as well. The remote does not charge automatically even though it shows a green light and uses 4 AA batteries which you need to change every 4-5 hours of use.
