    • Great OEM replacement for old stems
I bought this set after completely losing cold water in my tub/shower. My house was built in 1985, and it appeared that the original stems were still in the house. The replacement stems went on without issue, and I now have cold water again. YAY! From start to finish took about 45 minutes, and that even included having to cut off one of the old stems with a hack saw. This set comes with all the parts you need to completely replace your stem valves. I would advise picking up a seat wrench. The kit comes with replacement seats, and a seat wrench is only a few bucks. Also, pay close attention to the type of nipple flanges you have installed on your tub/shower. This kits comes with a circle flange, but my tub had oval flanges due to a small second hole that was used to adjust water pressure. I had to order Danco #86571 Flange for Price Pfister in Chrome to finish the job and ensure the second small hole was covered. They were less than $6 each on Amazon so no big deal. ... show more

    • Almost everything you need!
This package came with almost everything I needed to repair the leaky hot valve. The only tool not included is the seat wrench which you’ll need to buy separately. I ended up replacing the cold and diverter stems as well given how bad of shape the hot valve was in. All parts went in fine. Excellent kit that saved the day! Update on 9/18/2022 - Rubber washer on hot water valve failed. Water started leaking again. Replaced the unit with a new one from Home Depot. ... show more

One of the most difficult things is running back and forth to the store because you don't have the right sized equipment, you won't have that issue with this. The product was exactly the right size and easy to work with.

I bought this to replace an old one.. and I guess I should've just stuck with home depot or Lowes... it hasn't even been a month I've installed it and it's been nothing but issues. It was leaking then I got it to temporarily stop and then it all started again.. And geez them handles are so hard to turn myself, let alone very impossible for kiddos to turn on themselves.. And today the thing freaken failed after showering I went to turn it off and the damn water wouldn't shut off just kept pouring out.. I had to shut everything off at the main water shut off RIDICULOUS!! Damaged parts inside!! I WANT A REFUND!!!!!! ... show more

Make sure you tighten and test turning the water on with each handle before screwing handles in. fit perfect, new valves went right in, everything is perfect length. Valves measure at around 5 1/2 inches if i remember correctly.
