I have fine, curly hair that requires quite a bit of work to not look like a mop. I've been using a Hot Tools round dryer for years to do exactly what this tool does - wrap the hair, hold it close to my scalp and release, changing temperatures to build volume. I'll be honest, I sent my BFF a text before I used this the first time saying it was likely 50/50 that I would come out of this with a bald spot, but that fear was unfounded. As long as you hold the hair taut, the tool releases with no issues. The GOOD is very good - It built fantastic volume. The controls for the wrap/unwrap as well as the temperature control are well placed on the tool and easy to access. Most importantly, I only tangled my hair on the spool one time and it was directly related to me pressing the tool against my scalp when my hair was not wrapped all the way to the scalp. Even then, it was simple to remove with no pain and no damage. Left my hair shiny and full of volume, but I definitely had to use a styling tool on top of this. I do that anyway, so not an issue. My hair had great movement all day. I used both brushes with equal success. To change out the brushes, just push the button at the end of the brush and it pulls right off. The NOT AS GOOD - In the directions, it states very clearly that your hair should be 70-80% dry before using this tool. For me, this is not an issue because I airdry my hair to about this point, anyway, but for those you who intended to actually use this as a dryer and not a styling tool, it may be an issue. The cord is a little short. Bottom line - great for adding volume and shine. Doesn't pull your hair out. Unless you airdry, this may not be a good choice for a dryer. ... show more

As long as you take your time, this hairbrush works well. I have natural 4C hair so was definitely curious how this was going to work. Your hair needs to be just damp, definitely not wringing wet. After I washed my hair, I used my regular blow dryer to get it about 75% dry. After that I used the rotating brush. You'll need to part your hair into small sections, then take your time going through each one. I liked how it smoothed my hair. It doesn't get it nearly as straight as a flat iron; however, I ended up with a texture I was happy with. My hair ended up very smooth & full, so perfect for a high ponytail with lots of volume. For me, this isn't a tool I would use if in a hurry, but I'll definitely keep it in the rotation for when I have the time & want something a little different. ... show more

    • Awesome rotating dryer brush!
Dryer brushes are all the rave right now, so I was excited to finally get my hands on one! It’s easy to figure out how to use, and the interchangeable heads are easy to switch out. There are three different speeds and temps, and it does get pretty hot! It has pretty good air flow, so I feel like I get a good dry/curl out of it. The rotating brush is nice for curling, and just brushing out with it smooths a lot of my frizz! I love the rotation because it means I don’t have to manually turn the brush (I have carpal tunnel so it hurts), but be careful because one wrong move and your hair can get stuck in it lol. It’s also easy to hold without accidentally pushing a button! The cord is a perfect length to be able to freely roam about without having to be stuck next to an outlet. ... show more

I love that I can use the sun wet hair without having to have a separate curling brush! I don't typically dry my hair very often. I usually just let it air dry because it's better for my hair, but I love having this styling dryer as an option because it's so easy and versatile to use. Would make a great gift. ... show more

The women in my family always fight over the hair dryer so I got this to give them options. It arrived just fine with no defects that I could see. Getting it out you get the unit and two brushes. My wife used it first and loved the 2 in. one. After she had used it after her shower she liked how it rotated on its own and the heat got her hair dry.     • Easy to get your hair smooth and shiny!
I have fine, shoulder-length hair. I wear it in a bob style. My hair has some waves in it but of course not the way I would like my hair to fall. I wash and dry my hair every day. I have found DAILYLIFE Hair Brush Dryer to be a great product. After shampooing, I towel dry it very well so it is just damp. Then I put the hairbrush dryer on my hair. I love that the company offers two sizes of brushes. I prefer the larger brush overall as it tames my unwanted waves. The dryer smooths my hair and makes it shine. I can curl my hair under when I'm using the product, and then I don't have to use a curling iron at all. I like that! The brush has a feature that rotates the brush as you are using it. I like how my hair stays in place with my slight curl after using the feature. It gives my fine hair that little bit extra to help with shaping. The heads change easily to put on the barrel of the tool. I like that it has three speeds and temperatures. It seems very sturdy when you use it. I have medium length hair which is poker straight and fine and I don't have many choices on how to wear my hair other than in a bob hairstyle. The Dailylife Hair Dryer brush has just cut my styling time in half. For years I have had to use hot rollers to keep in a curl, but I thought I would give this product a try. After drying my hair until it was just a little damp, I used the smaller hot air brush to curl my hair under and it did an amazing job. I have thick long hair and I really love this. It only handles twisting when the brush reaches the last 1/2 of my hair length but if I do smaller sections it curls earlier. It gives a blow out look for sure. This eliminates my need for a straightener. For me I like to use this on a little drier than towel dry hair! Feels so good in your hand, easy to use.
