It’s ok and thankful to be able to remove some filling because as is would be way too high, even side sleeping. Can’t imagine anyone wanting to add extra. The problem is it then goes sort of lumpy with less filling but when full it tilts the neck to a painful angle and if you are not very heavy it’s too bouncy for your head to sink in comfortably. So the pressure towards the front edge pushes the filling back creating like a weird wedge shape. Will keep adjusting to find a comfortable level but it’s not preferable to one nice piece of latex or foam. ... show more

I can't use thin pillows because I end up snoring from my airways tightening. I prefer my other memory foam pillows because they tend to sink a little bit still keep you elevated. I felt like this pillow didna good job in keeping my head on an incline while back sleeping, but it has very little give. I didn't wake up sore, but did not feel as well rested as when using my other memory foam pillows. This would be good for a guest room or for someone that back sleeps and snores often. ... show more
