This is a nice small candle with some whimsical messages on the label. What’s fun about this brand of candles is that the packaging comes in many variations with fun messages to fit various occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, and random life events that lend themselves to motivational, and sometimes funny or naughty messaging. Half the fun is people reading the label for a laugh and as such these candles make excellent gifts. This is a pretty nice scent. I’ve had many candles over the years and many have leaned heavily toward a lavender base, which is fine but I’m sort of over powerfully lavender dominated scents. This Lavender & Oakmoss candle is spot on the type of scent I’m now loving. It has a more complex smell than most and for lack of a better word I would call it androgynous. It is neither too feminine (coconut) or masculine (musk) but appeals to both sides. Everyone has complimented the smell, both men and women. If it matters to you, the presentation on this one is sort of modern gothic chic. Many candles have that grandma look about them but this brand seems to be going for a moody boutique hotel spa vibe. Our 7 year old grandson was visiting a couple months ago and I was looking at Amazon. He came and sat by me and looked for a while. Before running off to play, he saw this candle and asked if I would get this for him to give to his Dad...how could I say no? So when he gave it to his Dad, they had a great laugh together, which was nice. Aside from that, this candle is 10 ozs., is Sandalwood scented, which is a nice scent for a guy, not flowery, and made of Soy wax, which is a clean burn. This would make a nice gift for anyone who's a dad, and has a good sense of humor. The price is so great as well. My son in law is planning to keep the jar and use it on his office desk once the candle is all gone. Nice way to remember his son when he was 7 yr. old . ... show more

My husband laughed when he opened his gift. He told our daughter, "I'm sure your Mom will appreciate this." He isn't wrong. This candle smells great! It has a strong scent but not overwhelming. Now how do I get him to remember to light it?

What a great Father's Day gag gift!!! This candle has a really good smell, and the label is super cute and super appropriate for my gorgeous husband who knows how to clear a room when he farts lol. This really gave all of us a good laugh to give him on Father's Day. The sandalwood smell is strong, but not over powering. Not the best packaging because it was cracked when it arrived- drivers fault but many other candles are in sturdy packaging to prevent this. I had to toss the candle but it smelt good without burning and the quote is cute.

Size: Sandalwood Color: dad‘s last nerve candle
Aside the massive spelling error that I missed because I thought I was getting a different design, this candle isn't worth the money. It smells OK, so I suppose this might make an alright gag gift. Other than that however, I really can't recommend it. It's cheaply made.
