Have come home several times and found the garage door open when I was absolutely sure I had closed it. I suspect another unit nearby and mine were swapping codes. I installed this camera in the garage so I could see if the door was closed by simply looking at the app on my phone. Camera picture quality is pretty good, has infrared so can see in complete darkness, and also has a microphone in case you want to listen to what's going on. Sends a "motion detection" signal if my door is opened and, although I don't use it, can send a warning if sound is detected. Was easy to set up and definitely handles the issue that I had. I called for technical support before the return date even then it says that I have to reset the camera on all four of the cameras I bought none of them work. I have two other cameras identical that I bought last year and they work perfectly these evidently were previously used and not reset I'm unable to use if I am unable to return them and they was $78 to talk to me on the phone ... show more

Use this and other two for 3 months already. Have bought a subscription for $2.99 for 3 cams, it keeps the recording for the last 7 days. Please make sure to enable the motion and sound detection if you want it to keep the recording, otherwise it won't show up in your timeline. One remark though, use the OEM charger always, have screwed one cam up while using another one from my phone. ... show more

Decided to use these cams for monitoring a litter of 6 puppies. Seven weeks in and these cams are a must. Constant surveillance. Night vision is great. Can't believe they work so well for such small cams. Will install them elsewhere in our home after puppies.

Since I posted the review below DLink's updated firmware corrected the issue. Streams video well and is configured through the app. Happy with the purchase. Original post: This camera is no longer has DLink’s cloud support so detected motion cannot be automatically recorded and saved. The app still shows these as supported cameras for that feature but the AppStore description says these older models are no longer supported for cloud recording. I’ll be returning the cameras as the product details are incorrect and I purchased based on using an unavailable feature. ... show more
