The media could not be loaded. I purchased 2 of the outdoor Dekco cameras about a week or so ago. They are powered with a cord. The set up process was super easy and took less than 5 minutes per camera minus mounting time, which didn't take long either. I have not yet purchased any SD cards, but chose instead to pay a small monthly fee to use the iCloud service for now. This would be better if it was one fee for more cameras, but it is currently $6.99/month for each camera. Besides that fact, so far I am pretty impressed with the cameras. The best features are the ability to move the cameras 360 degrees at the touch of a finger. The picture quality is great during the day and (color) at night. These cameras have a talk feature which is nice and also have some additional alarm features for unwanted guests. They also have a tracking feature that can be easily turned off in the app. This allows tracking on anything moving within the cameras viewpoint. Another great feature is the ability to view multiple cameras (up to 4 I believe) on one screen at the same time. I had a little bit of an issue with this at first and there is a chat area within the app. The customer service in the chat is awesome! They have responded very quickly with questions I've had multiple times and even followed up to see how it was going after the fact. **edit 1/7/25 We reached out to the company and they sent a replacement without any hassle. They said the problem was our WiFi connection, so who knows. At this time, while everything is working I would rate these 5 stars. Giving these a 3 star because when they work, they work but 4 months should not be the life of a security camera. I will update if/when a fix is done. We purchased these cameras and were pleasantly surprised by the overall quality. The image was clear, night vision was good, panning and zooming. We used SD cards for local storage so we didn’t need the cloud for more $$. We’ve had these cameras for about 4 months and recently the one camera continually goes offline (the second camera is further from the router) and no matter how many times we’ve reset, reconfigured or rebooted the camera will still go offline. I reached out to the manufacturer for support so hoping for an answer/fix. ... show more

Just installed the first camera. Product arrived well packaged. Installation was straightforward with one exception. Pan and tilt work just fine and image is crisp. The exception is you need to do the setup BEFORE mounting the camera. I likely missed this in the instructions. The app didn't show up in the App Store (IOS) but the 3D barcode brought it up. So far so good with the app experience. Two cautions: 1) the camera has a power dongle that plugs into the power cable. The dongle is only about 12" so not much margin beyond putting it through a wall. The power cable is about 6 feet so your mounting location needs to be close to your power source or you need to live with an extension cord. The dongle is outdoor worthy. These cameras and the app work pretty well. I wasn't sure about them until we set them up and started using them. The setup literally takes about 15 minutes including the app setup. I love how they track people and have infrared, plus I can enable the camera speaker and talk to people. I had to tell a guy he was on camera one night at our business who was lingering around. Very handy. I like that you can set notification windows by date and time so you're not constantly spammed, and I like that you can set the sensitivity on what it tracks and notifies about.
